Dear Sisters and Brothers,
With the account of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, we are
invited to walk with Jesus during
this Holy Week. We will hear the
Passion of our Lord read today and
on Good Friday. As you enter into
the experience of those passages, try to see yourself there. Observe what is happening to Jesus
and the people. Can you find circumstances in
your life wherein you can identify with Jesus,
with Peter, with Mary and the other women, or
the crowd in general?
Holy Week is a sacred time when we enter into
a prayerful walk with the Lord. It is a time to
come to church more, to pray in the home, to pray
individually for the many needs in our lives and in
the world.
We will have bilingual liturgies on Holy Thursday and Holy Saturday. It provides a wonderful
opportunity for our entire parish community to
come together in unity and prayer. It is a wonderful opportunity to collaborate and share the
various liturgical ministries. Jesus’ prayer at the
Last Supper was: “ I pray not only for them, but
also for those who will believe in me through
their word, so that they may all be one, as you,
Father are in me and I in you, that they also may
be in us, that the world may believe that you sent
me.” (John 17: 20)
We remember in prayer Misael Bautista,
Malakai Wishart, Christine Wishart, and Jeffrey
Morris who are preparing to receive the sacraments on Holy Saturday. Let us pray for our
parish community that God will unify us as we
share in celebrating the Eucharist and enter into
the passion, death, and resurrection of our Lord
Jesus Christ.
May God’s peace fill your hearts!

Due to the solemn and prayerful time of Holy
Week, there will not be a formal Holy Hour
this month. The English Holy Hour will
resume on Thursday, May 7 at 6:30 pm.
There is another group, the Reflection Prayer Group, (led
by Debbie Bero and Nancy Buhr) that will meet on
Monday, April 6 at 5:45 pm in Church. This month’s
reflection will be based on Matthew 5:10 and Matthew
28:19c. The night’s meditation will focus on this topic:
“The Persecuted Church Especially in the Middle East.”

brothers, you do for me.” Every day we are
presented opportunities to help someone.
Every day we have the opportunity to see the face of
Jesus in others and be the face of Jesus to others.

intentions for weekday and weekend Masses.

Programa Discípulos de Cristo
Discípulos de Cristo es un programa diocesano de
formación para ministerio dentro de la Iglesia. Es
para hombres y mujeres que desean servir a la Iglesia
de la Diócesis de Green Bay. Consiste en cursos de
6 semanas a lo largo de tres años de septiembre a
marzo. Los cursos cubren temas como Escritura del
Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento, Moralidad, Liturgia,
Sacramentos, Oración y Espiritualidad. Si desea más
información sobre este programa, puede consultar
con la Hna. Patricia en la Oficina Parroquial o con
uno de las varias personas de nuestra parroquia que
se han graduado del programa. (Hna. Patricia puede
ponerse en contacto con uno de ellos.) Es una oportunidad maravillosa para aprender más de nuestra fe
y prepararse para ser más activo en la Parroquia.

Mensaje de Nuestra Líder Pastoral
Queridos hermanos y hermanas,
Hoy el Evangelio nos narra sobre
la entrada triunfal de Jesús en Jerusalén y nos invita a caminar con Jesús
durante esta Semana Santa. También
escucharemos la narración de la pasión de nuestro Señor hoy y el Viernes Santo. Al escucharla, vivamos la experiencia
de esos pasajes y tratemos de vernos en ellos.
Observemos lo que está pasando a Jesús y la gente.
¿Pueden encontrar las circunstancias de su vida en
la cual pueden identificarse con Jesús, con Pedro,
con María y las otras mujeres o el público en general? La Semana Santa es un tiempo sagrado cuando
entramos en una caminata de oración con el Señor.
Es un tiempo para acercarse a la iglesia más, a orar
en el hogar, a rezar individualmente para las muchas
necesidades en nuestras vidas y en el mundo.
Tendremos liturgias bilingües el Jueves Santo y
Sábado de Gloria. Nos dan una oportunidad maravillosa para que nuestra comunidad parroquial se
reúna y rece junta y también para colaborar y compartir los distintos ministerios litúrgicos. La oración de Jesús en la Última Cena fue: "No ruego sólo
por estos, sino también por todos aquellos que creerán en mí por su palabra. Que todos sean uno, como
Tú, Padre, estás en mí y yo en ti. Que ellos también
sean uno en nosotros, para que el mundo confíe que
Tú me has enviado." (Jn. 17:20)
Recordamos en la oración Misael Bautista, Malakai Wishart, Christine Wishart y Jeffrey Morris
que se están preparando para recibir los sacramentos
el Sábado de Gloria. Oremos por nuestra comunidad parroquial para que Dios nos unifique mientras
compartimos en la celebración de la Eucaristía y
entramos en la pasión, muerte y resurrección de
nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

MISA CRISMAL - 31 DE MARZO
Cada año durante la Semana Santa
se celebra la Misa Crismal en la
Catedral, presidida por el Obispo
Ricken y concelebrada con los sacerdotes de la diócesis. En esta celebración se consagra el Santo Crisma
y se bendice los santos óleos para el uso en los
Sacramentos en todas las parroquias de la Diócesis. Otro tema importante de la Misa Crismal es el
sacerdocio. El Obispo invita a sus sacerdotes a
renovar su consagración y dedicación a Cristo y a
la Iglesia. Juntos prometen solemnemente unirse
más de cerca a Cristo, ser sus fieles ministros,
enseñar y ofrecer el santo sacrificio en Su nombre
y conducir a otros a Él. Dos miembros de San
Felipe estarán presentes en esta Misa y recibirán
los oleos para nuestro uso durante el año.
EL TRIDUO PASCUAL
Por la Cruz a la Luz
JUEVES SANTO: Misa Bilingüe a las 7:00 pm.
Recordamos la Última Cena de Jesús en que instituyó la Eucaristía y lavó los pies de sus discípulos.
En esta Misa se invitan a los que desean a acercarse para el lavatorio de pies, así dando testimonio
de su aceptación de la enseñanza de Jesús quien
vino para servir y no ser servido.
VIERNES SANTO: Servicio a las 7:00 (Español)
Recordamos la muerte de Jesús en la cruz. No hay
Misa en este día. La celebración consiste en la
Liturgia de la Palabra, la veneración de la cruz y la
Santa Comunión. Habrá una colecta especial
durante el servicio dedicada al sostenimiento de la
comunidad cristiana de la Tierra Santa.
SÁBADO DE GLORIA: Misa Bilingüe a las 8:00pm
La liturgia tiene cuatro partes. El servicio de la luz
que incluye la bendición del nuevo cirio pascual; la
lectura de varias partes del Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento; la recepción de los Sacramentos del Bautismo y la Confirmación; y la Liturgia de la Eucaristía
en que celebramos la gloriosa Resurrección de
nuestro Salvador, Jesucristo.

BAUTIZOS
Los Bautizos se realizan cada 2do y 3er sábado del
mes. Para celebrar un Bautizo es necesario acercarse a
la Oficina Parroquial con el certificado de nacimiento del
niño. Si los padres no están registrados en la Parroquia
es necesario hacerlo.
Oración para el Año de la Vida Consagrada
Oh Dios, Tú a través de los tiempos has llamado a
mujeres y hombres a fin de que vivan la caridad perfecta por medio de los consejos evangélicos de la pobreza, la castidad y la obediencia. Durante este Año
de la Vida Consagrada Te damos gracias por estos
valientes testigos de la fe, que son también modelos
de inspiración. Con su empeño por lograr la santidad
ellos nos enseñan a ofrecerte nuestra vida de una manera más perfecta. Te pedimos que continúes enriqueciendo a tu Iglesia con hijos e hijas que, habiendo
encontrado la perla de gran valor, atesoran el Reino
de los Cielos por encima de todas las cosas. Por
nuestro Señor Jesucristo, Tu Hijo, que vive y reina
contigo en la unidad del Espíritu Santo y es Dios por
los siglos de los siglos, Amén.
