Black Widow

The Black Widow was the first
operational U.S. Military aircraft designed
specifically to use radar. The Black Widow
was flown by the United States Army Air
Forces. It replaced earlier British-designed
night fighters. On the night of 14 August
1945, a P – 61, B – 2 of the 548th NFS named
“Lady in the Dark” was unofficially credited
with the last allied air victory before VJ day.
It was May 1944, and it was the war against Japan and it was really beginning to turn around. The
island base Rabaul at the eastern end of New Britain was still a Japanese strong-hold despite extensive
bombing by Allied forces from Cape Gloucester at the Eastern end of the island.
The island of New Guinea is said to resemble the profile of Turkey. The reason the Black Widow
was invented was to protect the United States from the Japanese. The Schouten Islands, located just north
of the turkey’s neck. There were three airstrips on Biak, which could be utilized for air strikes farther
north. Approaching Japanese planes could be seen by this U.S. Military aircraft designed specially to use
radar. The Black Widow was a high-tech air fighter that flew across the ocean. My grandfather flew one
of the Black Widows, he is in the picture above this article.

El Volkswagen escarabajo es un carro unico

en su diseno y eficiencia en gasolina, este ha
permanecido por 77 anos desde su invension. En el
pais de mexico tambienes muy popular, ounque es un
carros aleman por algun tiempo se estuvo ensamblado
en mexico. Este carro tambien una estoria muy
enteresante como lo narrare acontinuasion:
Adolf Hitler se intereso en carros y esto
sorperndio a munchos por que este personajeno le
justaba manejadores .El fue inspirado por el
automovilista americano Henry Ford.Poco bespues de
tomar el control de Alemaniaen el ano 1933 Hitler se
ascioso con ferolinaid porche para harcerle cambios al
diseno del carro Porch del ano 1931,y pensaron en
hacerlo adecuado para el hombre trabajador.Ferdinad

escarabajo aahora sabemos la verdadera historia.

Escarabajo? Aunque tiene una historia de que fue
fabricado por un hombre muy malo. ¿Que no se
miran estupendos? Aun haora son carros unicos y
barratos para tenen. El nuevo escarbajo tiene el precio

para estos tiempas tambien contiene asta 2.5 litros, yes

Jose has written this article in both English and Spanish. Many
students at our school are bilingual, and it is very important to have
command of two languages these days. It takes a great deal of
work to become proficient in translation, and we’re proud of Jose

The Volkswagen Beetle is a very unique car in its shape
and fuel efficiency. It has been around for 77 years. Also
it is very popular in Mexico. Even though it is a German
vehicle. But I think because it has been assembled in
Mexico for a few years. This also has a very interesting
history like the following.
Surprisingly, Adolf Hitler because interested in
cars even though he didn’t like to drive. He was inspired
by the American automotive
Henry Ford. After taking over
Germany in 1933 Hitler he
teamed up with Ferdinad
Porche to make changes to the
1931 Porche design to make it
suitable for working men.
Ferdinad Porche an Austro
Hungarian engineer created
the Volkswagen beetle with
the help of Hans Ledmika an
Austrian automobile designer.
Oh, and I almost forgot to
include than Bela Barenyi
needs to have credit because
he conceived the basic design
5 years earlier. Hans used
many tatras designs; a private
vehicle manufacturer is a
koprivnice, founded in 1850.
When Chrysler bout out De Soto air flow couple by 1934
Ferdinad Porche finished the design of the Beetle. Later
Hitler made a Volkswagen factory and promised to
manufacture the “people’s car” for German citizens.
Even though some rumors that Hitler designed the beetle.
Now we know the truth.
Are you willing to get your own beetle? Even
though it has history that it was made by a very bad man
.Aren’t these cars nice looking! Even today they are very
unique, and inexpensive to own. The new 09 Beetle base
price is around $18,990-$20,090. It is very economic for
these times also it holds 2.5 liters, it is a 5 cylinder (for

During the war, my great uncle, William Wallace, was stationed in Alaska. The
Arctic Defense Command was responsible for guarding our northern exposure from
Japanese attack. One prelude to the Battle of Midway was a diversionary attack on the
Aleutian Islands of Kiska and Attu. The Japanese Imperial Navy struck the American
base at Dutch Harbor in 1942 to try to coax American carriers north to repel this threat,
while the rest of the Japanese carriers attacked Midway Island. Thanks to our ability to
read the Japanese codes, the US knew that the attack on Alaska was a diversion, and
were able to bring our entire force against the Japanese at Midway. Midway was a very
important victory for us, and changed the tide of the war.
In Alaska, the big picture wasn’t common knowledge, and the attack on Dutch
Harbor was very foreboding. My great uncle’s job was to get the troops at Fort Mears
ready to repel a possible attack, and building a number of coastal guns was the first step.

The goggles are made for the helmet. They snap on to the
back of the helmet. The helmet he is wearing is made for
people who are in the tanks, so they don’t hit there head
on metal. The ear holes are for a radio, so they can listen
to there commanders. The goggles are U.S. made, the
helmet is also Canadian War Department Cypher, a 2nd
armored division patch that is on the O.D felt that was
made in Britain.
