Our Thematic Unit: Marvelous Me
We spent these two weeks learning about our
bodies and emotions. We explored the different
senses we have. We also observed how our
bodies look in the mirror, and how we are similar
and different then our friends. In science,
students recognized that they are constantly
growing.
Notes from the Nurse:
In school, we are working on teaching the students
the importance of hand washing to prevent the
spread of germs. Remind your children at home to
wash their hands after using the bathroom, before
eating, and after coughing and sneezing.
In ART we, traced our bodies, created 3d people,
and created our own self portrait.
In MATH we graphed our height and weight and
compared them with our friends.
In SCIENCE we used our senses to smell spices,
taste sweet and sour food and explore textures.
In DRAMATIC PLAY we covered our bodies with
masks and dress up clothing.
In BLOCKS we used multi-cultural people and
explored their characteristics.

Aprender es divertido
En ARTE, traza nuestros cuerpos, creamos personas
de 3d, de trazado y creado nuestro propio
autorretrato.
En MATEMATICA dibujamos nuestra altura y peso
y las comparamos a nuestros amigos
En CIENCIAS utilizamos nuestros sentidos para oler
especias, probar comida agria y dulce y
exploramos texturas..
En DRAMATICO JUEGO cubrimos nuestros cuerpos
con máscaras y ropa de vestir....
En bloques había utilizado personas
multiculturales y explorar sus características
Nuestra unidad temática: El yo Maravilloso
Hemos pasado estas dos semanas aprendiendo
sobre nuestros cuerpos y emociones. Exploramos
los diferentes sentidos que tenemos . También
observamos cómo nuestros cuerpos se ven en el
espejo, y cómo somos similares y diferentes a
nuestros amigos. En la ciencia, los estudiantes
reconocen que están creciendo constantemente.
Notas de la Enfermera:
En la escuela, le estamos ensenando la importancia
de lavarse las manos para prevenir la propagación de
gérmenes . Recuerdele a sus hijos en casa de lavarse
las manos después de usar el baño antes de comer y
después de toser y estornudar .
