FeedMore, who offers comprehensive hunger programs that help
provide food to Central Virginia's most vulnerable residents: children,
families, and seniors. Bring one jar of peanut butter to school on
Friday, September 23 and you can dress in TAG day clothes!

Performance Series Testing: Students are completing our computer adaptive nationally
standardized tests this week. The assessment is designed to determine skill mastery on grade
level curriculum standards. Teachers use the Fall baseline scores to guide instructional planning.
They will meet with students to set mid-year goals. Spring test results will be sent home with
the final report card.

We love our volunteers! To keep all of our children safe, the Diocese requires that all school
volunteers be VIRTUS trained. This involves completing a child protective services screening
form, paying $4, and attending a workshop on “Protecting God’s Children”. We will offer a
workshop here at All Saints on October 3rd from 6 – 9pm. To attend this workshop, please sign
up on-line at www.virtusonline.org. Click Registration in the left column and choose Richmond
Diocese. Then scroll down and find the session at All Saints. Registration is free but is limited to
the first 40 people to sign up. There are other workshops throughout the Richmond area if the
3rd does not work well for you. Children are not allowed to attend and we are not able to
provide child care.

Volunteers, be sure to submit your time! The All Saints PTO asks each family to volunteer 10
hours (or MORE!) annually. This can be achieved through volunteering in your child’s classroom,
assisting in the office, chaperoning field trips, assisting with a club or sport, assisting with
planned PTO activities, and answering other calls for assistance. We want to recognize you for
your volunteer hours! Look for the volunteer mailbox in the front hallway of the school. Fill out
a form and drop it in the slot to report your hours OR use the PTO’s new on-line Track it
Forward for tracking your progress towards the 10 hour annual commitment for your
family. Today you will receive an email notification (one per family) with your registration/login
information. Hours submitted via the paper coupons will also be entered into the system, so if
you do not have access to the website please continue to submit manually. If you do not
receive an email and wish for your family to be registered you can visit the link below to self
register.

Some things to remember for both methods of submission:
· You must include a description of your activity. For the online version, include this in the
NOTES field.
· You must have someone verify your hours. For the online version, include the name of the
person that can verify your participation in the NOTES field. This can be a teacher,
administrator, or PTO Officer that was the supervisor for your activity.
· Recognition will take place throughout the year for families meeting certain milestones
throughout the year.
