SBAC Parent Info
Thank you to all of the parents
who completed our prop K and
safe school surveys during
parent conferences. As a result
of your feedback we will be
moving forward next year with
artificial grass for our soccer
field and rubber for our running
track. We anticipate that the
changes will be made before
school starts on August 22nd.
In addition to the soccer field
and running track, we will also
be installing an outdoor fitness
circuit, an outdoor community
art space, and a living stream.

Students who will be participating in culmination will be required to attend school on
Wednesday, June 15th for culmination practice. This is a half day of school, and it is
important all students are present. Culmination will be held at Hawthorne Memorial
Center which is located at 3901 W El Segundo Blvd, Hawthorne, Ca, 90250.
Students are required to arrive the day of culmination by 2:00 pm. Any student who
has received 4 or more referrals will not be allowed to participate. Every student will
receive 4 tickets and will be given the opportunity to get an extra culmination ticket if they
attend the next parent workshop on May 25th at 5:00pm

Prop K
Gracias a todos los padres que
completaron nuestra encuesta
de prop K y sobre la seguridad
en la escuela que completaron
durante las conferencias de
padres. Como resultado este
siguiente aṅo pondremos
sacate artificial en el area para
jugar futbol y alfombra de
goma en la pista de carreras.
Anticipamos que los nuevos
arreglos se hagan antes de el
nuevo aṅo escolar que
empezara el 22 de Agosto. En
adicion de la cancha de futbol
y la pista de carreras, tambien
instalaremos un circuito de
aptitud al aire libre , un espacio
de arte al aire libre y una
corriente de agua.

Estudiantes que participen en la culminación tendrán que venir a la escuela el
miércoles, 15 de junio para practicar cómo será la culminación. Este día será un día
corto, y es importante que todos los estudiantes estén presentes. La culminación se
tomara acabo en el Hawthorne Memorial Center que está localizado en 3901 W El
Segundo Blvd, Hawthorne, Ca, 90250. Los estudiantes tienen que llegar a las 2:00
pm el día de la culminación. Estudiantes que han recibida 4 o más referencias
disciplinarias no podrán ser parte de este evento. Cada estudiante recibirá 4 boletos y
les daremos la oportunidad de recibir boletos extras si van al siguiente taller de padres
el 25 de mayo a las 5:00 pm.
