This work is devoted to the study of the Spanish economy. The goal is to know what
has happened and what will happen to the most important economic variables. A specific study
on the past behavior of each variable was also carried out, with particular emphasis from the
end of 2008, date in which you begin to notice the crisis. Predictions obtained from the
statistical analysis of time series are necessary to describe the future behavior of the Spanish
economy instrument. Finally, this information is used to study the adequacy of the Phillips
curve to capture the behavior of inflation and unemployment in Spain. In this respect the
results are consistent with the predictions of the theory.
