Ad el p h a n ea , the N ea Si ster , is a butterfly of the Nymphalidae
family. It was described by Hewitson in 1847. It is found from southeastern Mexico, Belize and Costa Rica to Venezuela and southern Peru,
the Guianas and Amazonian Brazil.[2]
The larvae feed on Miconia species.
