MEFFPOWER REGISTRA 4,3 TWh EN DICIEMBRE MAS DEL DOBLE QUE EL MISMO MES
DEL AÑO ANTERIOR. NUEVO RÉCORD EN POSICIÓN ABIERTA (8,5 TWh)
En 2015 se han registrado 23 TWh y se ha disparado el número de participantes a 109 (+38%)




El último mes del año continúa con un notable incremento en la actividad de registro en nuestra
Cámara. Diciembre ha sido el mejor mes de 2015 con 4,3 TWh (+ 132% con respecto a diciembre
2014) destacando el volumen de registro en calendars, donde ha habido récord de registro (2,7
TWh, un solo lado).
La posición abierta a finales de noviembre ha sido 8,5 TWh, récord histórico de MEFFPower y
un 224% más que el mismo mes del año anterior.
El número total de operaciones registradas en diciembre alcanzó 293, destacando récord de
operaciones trimestrales (84) y en calendars (76).
En el año 2015 se han registrado en Cámara 23 TWh en 3.378 operaciones, frente a 32 TWh en
5.082 operaciones en 2014.

A lo largo del año 2015 se han adherido a MEFFPower 30 nuevos participantes, y han operado en
la Cámara un total de 88 participantes.


MONTH PREVIOUS YEAR. NEW RECORD OF 8.5 TWh IN OPEN INTEREST
In 2015 MEFFPower registered 23 TWh and boost growth in number of participating
entities which jumped from 79 to 109 (+38%)





The last month of the year continued with increasing volumes being brought for clearing
to our CCP. December has been the best month of 2015 with 4.3 TWh (+ 132% vs
December 2014). Particularly noteworthy is the volume registered in Calendars, where
there has been a record of 2.7 TWh (single-sided).
Open interest at the end of November reached 8.5 TWh, historical record at
MEFFPower and up by 224% in comparison with the same month the previous year.
Total number of trades registered in December was 293, with records in number of
Quarter trades (84) and Calendar trades (79).
Throughout 2015, 30 new participants joined MEFFPower and a total of 88 registered
trades.
