MEFFPOWER ADMITE 3 NUEVAS ENTIDADES Y CONTINÚA CON LA RECUPERACIÓN DE
VOLUMEN Y PARTICIPACIÓN
Septiembre ha sido mes récord en 2015 en cuanto a número de participantes activos, 44 sin
contar a los miembros compensadores, un 17% más que el promedio de 2015. En este mes 3
nuevas entidades se han adherido a MEFFPower, uno de ellos GUNVOR INTERNATIONAL.
A la fecha hay un total de 105 participantes. Además hay 4 entidades que están en proceso
de adherirse próximamente.
El volumen total registrado en el mes de septiembre, contabilizando un solo lado ha sido 1,8
TWh, un 99% superior al volumen registrado el mes anterior y un 23% superior al promedio
mensual en 2015.
La posición abierta a finales de mes ha sido 4,6 TWh mejorando 19% sobre el mes anterior y
un 78% con respecto a la posición abierta a finales de septiembre de 2014.
El número total de operaciones registradas alcanzó 351, con una media de 16 operaciones
diarias, que supone un incremento de 54% con respecto al mes anterior y un 31% superior al
promedio mensual en 2015.

MEFFPOWER ADMITS 3 NEW ENTITIES AND CONTINUES ITS UPWARDS TREND IN
VOLUME AND PARTICIPATION
September has been the best month in 2015 in terms of participating entities, 44
excluding clearing members, up by 17% if compared with the monthly average during
2015. This month 3 new entities have adhered to MEFFPower, one of them being
GUNVOR INTERNATIONAL. To date MEFFPower has 105 participants. Additionally,
another 5 firms are in the process of joining shortly.
Total single-sided volume registered in September was 1.8 TWh, 99% higher to the
volume registered the previous month and 23% higher to the monthly average during
2015.
Open interest reached 4.6 TWh at the end of the month, 19% above the open interest at
the end of the previous month and 78% above the open interest at the end of
September 2014.
Total number of trades registered was 351, which makes an average of 16 trades a day
and shows an increase of 54% with respect to the previous month and 31% if compared
with the monthly average during 2015.
