Había una vez 4 berries que tomaban el sol
desde una rama y un sol de sonrisa infinita que
les hacía compañía todos los días del año en
aquella bonita tierra, llamada Huelva.
Once upon a time 4 berries were sitting on a branch, soaking up
the infinite sunshine that kept them company every day in that
beautiful region called Huelva.

El sol bronceaba sus caras
cuando, de repente, empezaron a
notar asombrosas sensaciones.
The sun was tanning their faces when
all of a sudden they began to experience
amazing sensations.
Elsa la frambuesa, de un salto se aposentó en el tejado
del lejano cortijo -¡Esto es alucinante! - gritaba.
Elsa the raspberry jumped up and landed on the roof of the
distant farm. -This is amazing!- she shouted.
Desde lejos, Dora la mora, observaba la escena como
si estuviera allí mismo. -¡Veo el infinito y más allá!-
Watching from the distance, Dora the blackberry yelled:
-I can see perfectly, to infinity and beyond!-
Nando el arándano, fascinado, veía
como en su mente se sucedían recuerdos
con todo detalle.
-¡Mi memoria es prodigiosa!Nando the blueberry was astonished; his mind was
racing and distant memories were coming back to
him in full detail. -My memory is monumental!-
¿y la fresa? Freda se entretenía
haciendo malabares con tres vacas.
-¡Soy superfuerte!And the strawberry? Freda was juggling three
cows at the same time. -I´m super strong!-
-¿Qué nos ha pasado?- Nando, con su mente
brillante, fue quien dió la respuesta: -¡Los rayos
del sol nos han convertido en Superberries!
Tenemos poderes extraordinarios-.
-What has happened to us?– Nando, making use of his brilliant
mind had the answer: -The rays of the sun have turned us into
Superberries! We all have superpowers!-
-¡Superberries, todavía no! Sólo somos berries
con grandes poderes. Para ser Superberries
tendremos que estar a la altura.
Visitemos a Vitorio y Luisino-Not yet Superberries! We’re just berries with great powers.
To become Superberries we have to earn it. Let’s visit Vitorio y
Luisino-
La puerta se abrió y aparecieron los
afamados sastres Vitorio y Luisino.
-¡Queremos lo último en moda de
superhéroes! Algo discreto pero
molón!- Les indicó Dora.
The door opened and the famous tailors Vitorio
y Luisino stepped outside. -We want the latest in
superhero fashion! Something discrete but cool!Dora explained.
Entre distintos retazos de tela, aparecieron radiantes las
4 fantásticas berries. En su pecho, un símbolo en forma
de "más"”que simbolizaba sus poderes.
-¡Ahora sí somos Superberries!With the help of several snippets, the 4 fantastic berries looked astonishing.
On their chests was now a “+” symbol. -Now we’re really superberries-
De repente, un frío desalentador inundó la sastrería y acabó con
el bullicio. En poco tiempo todos los colores habían desaparecido.
Una triste figura observaba desde la ventana. -¿Qué es eso?All of a sudden a chilling cold invaded the workshop and silenced the euphoria. The
colours faded instantly. A sad figure was peeking through the window. -What’s that?-
Las Superberries salieron
al oscuro mundo exterior. El
visitante comenzó a hablar. -¡Soy
Malo Malote!. Amargo la vida
a la gente y reparto tristeza por
todo el mundo. Odio la Salud y
lucho contra ella.
The Superberries stepped out into the now grey
world. The visitor began to speak. -I’m a bad bad
guy. I make life hard for everybody and spread
sorrow throughout the world. I hate and I fight
against health-
Ante sus ojos el maléfico personaje,
desapareció camuflándose entre los árboles.
Las Superberries comprendieron que había
llegado el momento de actuar.
Before their eyes the villain disappeared amongst the grey
foliage. The Superberries knew it was time for action.
-¡No permitiremos que arrases nuestro maravilloso
mundo!-Dora la mora, utilizando su supervisión, pronto
pudo localizar a Malote entre los árboles.
-¡Allí está!-We will not allow you to destroy our beautiful world!Dora the blackberry made use of her supervision and
discovered the villain between the trees. -There he is!-
Como un rayo, Elsa la frambuesa salió
disparada hacia donde Dora indicaba y, con
parte de su capa, tapó los ojos a Malote,
mientras Malote la zarandeaba.
Elsa the raspberry followed Dora’s directions with lightning
speed and using her cape, she blinded the villain who was
trying to strike her.
-¡Ya llego!- exclamaba Freda la Fresa.
Aprovechando la falta de visión del maléfico
personaje, Freda lo dejó inmovilizado con
unas cuerdas.
-I’m coming!- Freda the strawberry yelled and tied the
blinded villain up with some strings.
Mientras, Nando se dirigió a la
cabeza, para desenroscarle el pequeño
cuerno que lucía. Su memoria prodigiosa
le permitió recordar las viejas historias
donde se explicaba como eliminar los
efectos de los malotes.
Nando meanwhile aimed for the head to unscrew the little
horn. His vast memory allowed him to remember the old
tales explaining how to diminish a villain’s powers.
Los colores comenzaron
a aparecer, mientras el
bosque recuperaba su alegre
paisaje. Malote, a la vez, se
transformaba en una adorable y
esponjosa criatura.
The colours came back and the forest was once
again beautiful. The villain was transformed into
an adorable and spongy creature.
Las Superberries habían derrotado
a la enfermedad. ¡Su misión estaba
cumplida!Ahora tocaba divertirse
y jugar con sus poderes.
¿Malote, juegas con nosotros?
Y así hiceron.
The Superberries had defeated the
illness. Mission accomplished! Now it
was time for fun and games. -Villain, do
you want to play?- And so they did.

Los berries de Huelva, además de ser “súper frutas” que están riquísimas, poseen una serie
