Registration must be done in advance.
Designed for speakers of English as a Second Language whose English is at least a
high-beginning level (ELI Level 3+). Students will learn about American history and
government as they prepare for the civics portion of the U.S. Citizenship exam.
Additionally, students will practice their English language skills as they prepare for
the reading, writing, and speaking portions of the exam. By the end of the course,
students will be familiar with the structure of the Citizenship interview, and will be
more prepared for the civics and English portions of the exam.
