Querido padres:
¡Bienvenidos al 2º grado! Hoy tuvimos el placer de conocer sus hijos(as) y
estamos tan emocionadas de que sus hijos estarán en nuestra clase el
próximo año escolar. Segundo grado es un año lleno de retos, crecimiento y
diversión.
Para que su hijo/a esté preparado y organizado para segundo grado les
queremos dar una lista de materiales que necesitarán el primer día de
escuela (con los recortes a nuestro presupuesto, nos han dicho que los
materiales que nos van a dar son limitados y cualquier donación será
agradecida). Recuerden que tiendas como Target, Tienda del Dólar, Staples
y Office Max ponen muchos de los materiales en venta durante el verano y
para el primer día de escuela las venta se han acabado.
Es muy importante que su hijo/a siga leyendo durante las vacaciones.
Sugiero que su hijo/a lea por lo menos 20 minutos cada día. Esperemos que
tengan un verano divertido y nos veremos el próximo año escolar.

Dear Parents,
Welcome to second grade! Today, we had the pleasure of meeting your
child and we are so excited for your child to be our class next school year.
Second grade is a time of growth, hard work and fun.
In order for your child to be organized and prepared for the school
year we would like to give you a list of items that we would like your child to
have on the first day of school (due to budget cuts we have been told us
that we are getting very limited supplies and any donations that you can
make would be greatly appreciated). Keep in mind that stores like Target,
Dollar Store, Staples and Office Max put items on sale during the summer
and by the first day of school most of the sales are over.
It is important that your child read during the summer. We suggest that
your child reads a minimum of 20 minutes each day. Have a relaxing summer
and we are looking forward to the next school year with your child.
