Please accept our warm congratulations to Real Madrid's football team
on their tremendous victory in the Champions' League Final!
The tweet that was sent by accident via the official Maccabi Twitter
account was not authorized by the club and in no way represents the
spirit of Maccabi Tel Aviv and its management! We deeply apologize.
This was the result of a terrible mistake that came about when one of
our employees, instead of logging in to his personal account, logged into
the club's account. This incident will be thoroughly investigated and
conclusions will be determined.
Maccabi Tel Aviv and Real Madrid are two prestigious clubs with a
marvelous tradition that includes 46 years of unforgettable meetings
between the two teams, with victories and losses on both sides as well
as mutual respect. We will do everything possible to ensure that that
continues to be the case!
