There was a lot of noise coming from the street, but that did not stop his thoughts. That day started too soon and many things had already happened. The sun was shining stupidly. When the door opened, he turned his face towards the person coming in with eyes wide open. But he turned his face back again to his coffee with a sigh. He took the newspaper and opened it somewhere in the middle and started turning pages still in silence. Looking sad, he took a sip from the cup of coffee, and left it down again on the plate. He felt a hand on the shoulder and turned his face towards a pale hand with a golden ring. He jumped to his feet with a wide smile, showing his green eyes for the first time. They both sat down in silence. Peter ordered another cup of coffee for Jimmy and one for himself, double, please!. With tears on his eyes, James said, I’m sorry. Peter held his hand. The waiter brought a couple of steaming coffee, filling the atmosphere with a warm smell. It was raining outside. There was a yellow taxi waiting outside. Glossary: stirring: removiendo; steaming: humeante. Give full answers to the following questions: a) Where were James and Peter? b) How many cups of coffee did James take? And Peter? c) Was James waiting for somebody? Why? d) Was James happy to see Peter? PRUEBA DE ACCESO A LOS CICLOS FORMATIVOS DE GRADO SUPERIOR. Resolución de 28 de marzo de 2016 (BOC Nº 64.
