Before Your Start Cooking
n Check hoses for cracks and holes.
n Check hoses for leaks. Spread a soapy solution with a brush
at connection points. Bubbles mean a leak.
n If tightening the connection doesn’t work, turn off the gas
(natural gas or propane).
No lighted cigarettes, matches or
open flames near a leaking grill.
Keep a kitchen fire
extinguisher nearby.
A rotten
egg smell
is added
to natural
gas.
