THE DIRECTOR OF LABoral TO PARTICIPATE IN
THE WORKING DAY “PERSPECTIVAS Y RETOS
DE LA INDUSTRIA AUDIOVISUAL EN ASTURIAS”
IT WILL BE HELD TOMORROW, THURSDAY, IN EL CENTRO DE INTEGRAL DE
FORMACIÓN PROFESIONAL, COMUNICACIÓN, IMAGEN Y SONIDO DE
LANGREO.
Tomorrow, Thursday, December 3, the Director of LABoral, Rosina GómezBaeza, will participate in the working day "Perspectivas y Retos de la
Industria Audiovisual Asturiana" ["Perspectives and Challenges of the
Asturian Audiovisual Industry"] to be held in El Centro de Integral de
Formación Profesional, Comunicación, Imagen y Sonido de Langreo
(CISLAN). Organised by La Asociación de Empresas de Producción
Audiovisual de Asturias (AEPA), this working day will examine the
audiovisual sector in Asturias through lectures and discussions on issues
such as audiovisual clusters, the role of digital television and new
technologies and cultural industries.
Rosina Gómez-Baeza will participate in the round table discussion that will
analyse cultural industries as elements of innovation and creativity,
presenting LABoral as a space adapted perfectly to the most current of
today's art manifestations: the intersection between society, art, science
and technology. According to its Director, the activity programme of El
Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial in Gijón will help to configure the
information society and stimulate creativity through technological tools and
networking. Other participants in the discussion will include Marichu
Corugedo, Director of the Film Commission of Asturias, Rosa Garnacho,
President of the Asociación de Compañías Profesionales de Teatro y Danza
de Asturias (ACPTA) and Xavier Marcé, Director of Libro Blanco de las
Industrias Culturales.
The working day "Perspectivas y Retos de la Industria Audiovisual
Asturiana" will be inuagurated by the Minister of Public Administration of
the Principality of Asturias, Ana Rosa Migoya, the Deputy Mayor of Langreo,
María Fernández, the President of La Federación Asturiana de Empresarios
(FADE), Severino García Vigón, the Presidente of La Cámara de Comercio de
Gijón, Luis Arias de Velasco and the President of AEPA, José Luis GarcíaBericua.
