Internet is an accesible tool to almost everyone, even terrorists. Therefore, the traditional
form of terrorism has been modified and updated thanks to these new technologies. There are
different ways to use these new mechanisms as well as different purposes or objectives.

Cyberterrorism doesn’t affect a particular country , but as it happens with international terrorism ,
it involves a large number of States , therefore , cooperation between the different States will be a
key element in the fight against it and in order to maintain the National Security. In relation to this
new phenomenon , it should be determined whether this is a real threat or if it’s something that
doesn’t have enough importance to worry the state security agencies yet.
