The Autonomous Community of the Basque Country has exercised the power given
to it in the Constitution under Article 149.1.7. which provides that the State has exclusive
jurisdiction over labour legislation, without prejudice to its execution by bodies of the
Autonomous Communities.

terms, Labour Inspection and Social Security
  To exercise this power under the supreme law, Royal Decree
895/2011 was promulgated on 24 June under which the functions and
services of Labour Inspection and Social Security are transferred to the Community
Autonomous Basque.
