different programs and different campuses.

to talk about our last vacations.
Activity #2 – My Last Vacation
Student A (Laura Gómez): Hi! It's nice to see you again. How was your last
vacation?
Student B (Ana Sofía): Hi! It was great! I went to Huila with my family, and I also
spent some time with friends. What about you? Where did you go?
Student A (Laura Gómez): That sounds nice! I went to Ecuador with my family. We
wanted to relax and visit new places.
Student B (Ana Sofía): Cool! When did you go?
Student A (Laura Gómez): I went from January 6th to January 10th. What about
you?
Student B (Ana Sofía): My vacation was from June 23rd to June 29th.
Student A (Laura Gómez): Nice! How did you get there?
Student B (Ana Sofía): We traveled by car. And you?
Student A (Laura Gómez): We traveled by car too.
Student B (Ana Sofía): Where did you stay in Ecuador?
Student A (Laura Gómez): I stayed in an Airbnb in Ambuquí, Imbabura. Where did
you stay?
Student B (Ana Sofía): First, I stayed in an Airbnb apartment in Neiva, and later at
my uncle's farm in Pitalito.
Student A (Laura Gómez): That sounds interesting. How long did you stay there?
Student B (Ana Sofía): I stayed there for one week. How long did you stay in
Ecuador?
Student A (Laura Gómez): I stayed there for four days.
Student B (Ana Sofía): Who did you go with?
Student A (Laura Gómez): I went with my family: my brother, my niece, and his
girlfriend. Who did you go with?
Student B (Ana Sofía): I went with my family and some friends.
Student A (Laura Gómez): What did you do there? Did you visit any places of
interest?
Student B (Ana Sofía): Yes! I attended the San Pedro Festival, watched the
parades and traditional dances, and visited the Tatacoa Desert, the Giant's Hand,
and Pitalito. What about you?
Student A (Laura Gómez): We swam in the pool, walked around, listened to music,
and took many photos. We also visited Chachimbiro, which is famous for its thermal
pools.
Student B (Ana Sofía): That sounds like a wonderful trip! What did you eat and
drink?
Student A (Laura Gómez): I ate grilled meat, chicken, and local desserts, and I
drank traditional Ecuadorian coffee. What about you?
Student B (Ana Sofía): I ate traditional food like asado huilense and tamales, and I
drank fresh fruit juice and lemonade.
Student A (Laura Gómez): Did everything go as you expected?
Student B (Ana Sofía): Almost. I didn't have any problems during the trip, and we
didn't stay in a hotel because we preferred an Airbnb and my uncle's farm. What
about you?
Student A (Laura Gómez): We didn't visit the beach because it was too far away,
and I didn't buy many souvenirs because I wanted to save money.
Student B (Ana Sofía): Even so, it sounds like you had a great time. Overall, how
was your vacation?
Student A (Laura Gómez): It was relaxing, exciting, and unforgettable. I would
definitely visit Ecuador again. How was yours?
Student B (Ana Sofía): My vacation was fantastic. I made unforgettable memories
with my family and friends, and I would love to go back someday.
Student A (Laura Gómez): It was nice talking with you about our vacations.
Student B (Ana Sofía): See you later! Have a great day!
