Información para nuevos conductores de motocicletas
Los primeros 1000 km son los más importantes en la vida útil de una motocicleta. Un adecuado uso durante este periodo podría no solo
prolongar su vida útil, sino que también podría resultar en un adecuado funcionamiento de la misma. Los componentes móviles de la motocicleta
se pueden pulir para lograr una operación más fluida.
Manejar cuidadosamente durante el rodaje garantiza buena maniobrabilidad y óptimo rendimiento de la motocicleta. Es de vital importancia que
las partes de la motocicleta no se sobrecalienten.
Para más información sobre el adecuado rodaje inicial de la motocicleta, refiérase a la sección “Rodaje Inicial de Motocicletas Nuevas”.
Por favor lea el manual cuidadosamente y acate de forma estricta las reglas e instrucciones ahí establecidas.
Preste especial a las secciones señaladas con “advertencia”, “tenga con cuidado” y “aviso”, ya que son utilizadas para indicar información
importante. Lea estas partes con especial atención.
Advertencia… hace referencia a indicaciones de seguridad que el conductor debe de seguir; ignorar esta información incrementa la posibilidad

este tipo de motocicletas. Esto nos permite ofrecerle un rendimiento confiable y un acabado elegante, lujoso y a la moda.
Conducir una motocicleta es una de las actividades más emocionantes y a su vez, la motocicleta es un medio de transporte ideal que le
brindará felicidad. Antes de operar su motocicleta por favor lea este manual cuidadosamente.
Este manual abarca temas de correcta utilización, reparación y mantenimiento de su motocicleta. Por favor apéguese a las indicaciones del
manual, ya que éstas garantizarán que su motocicleta funcione normalmente por un período prolongado. En los puntos de venta autorizados

Precauciones de Seguridad para Conductores
Conducir una motocicleta es muy placentero. Con el fin de garantizar su seguridad, por favor acate, en todo momento, las leyes y regulaciones
de tránsito y los siguientes cinco consejos:
Utilice el casco de seguridad
La seguridad vial empieza con el uso del casco, un componente muy importante del conductor. Un casco de alta calidad es la primera barrera
de protección contra accidentes de tránsito. Las lesiones en la cabeza son unos de los accidentes más graves; por lo tanto, asegúrese de
siempre utilizar el casco y las gafas de protección cuando maneja su motocicleta.
Familiarícese con su motocicleta
Las habilidades de conducir y el conocer su vehículo son parte fundamental de la seguridad vial. Le recomendamos practicar en un espacio
abierto para familiarizarse con su motocicleta y con su operación. Recuerde, la práctica hace al maestro.
Conozca su límite de velocidad
La velocidad a la que debería conducir varía según la superficie, sus habilidades de conducción y las condiciones del clima. Conozca su propio
límite y evite los accidentes. Conducir dentro de sus límites puede evitar un accidente.

Vestimenta adecuada
Conducir con vestimenta holgada o extravagante podría no ser seguro ni cómodo. Sentarse en el asiento para motocicleta, con la vestimenta
adecuada, le hará sentirse libre. Los guantes, las botas y el casco demostrarán claramente que usted es un conductor calificado. Intente utilizar
vestimenta ajustada y de alta calidad.
Preste mayor atención al conducir en condiciones lluviosas
Por favor preste más atención al conducir en condiciones lluviosas. Recuerde que la distancia de frenado en condiciones lluviosas puede
llegar a ser hasta el doble que en condiciones normales. Evite conducir sobre hoyos, pintura o aceite para evitar derrapar; el agua en la calle
representa un peligro y puede causar accidentes. Evite doblar al acelerar. Preste especial atención al transitar sobre líneas de tren y sobre
puentes, entre otros, y recuerde mantener una distancia apropiada entre la motocicleta y los otros vehículos.

Número de chasís (número de identificación del vehículo)

Número de motor
El número de chasís (o número de identificación del vehículo) es necesario para registrar la motocicleta. Este número puede ser especialmente
útil al ordenar repuestos o al llevar el vehículo a un centro de servicio de; el número ayudará a que el agente de servicio le asista mejor.
El número de chasís (o número de identificación del vehículo) está grabado por láser sobre la carrocería. El número de motor está grabado
sobre el lado izquierdo del cárter. La placa metálica de identificación está montada sobre el tubo vertical del chasís; ésta incluye los parámetros
técnicos y la información del fabricante.

Operación y aplicación de cada parte
Botón de inicio (1): Gire el botón para llevar el odómetro a cero.
Velocímetro (2): Mide la velocidad en kilómetros por hora
Odómetro (3): Indica el kilometraje acumulado desde que la motocicleta se utilizó por primera vez.
Odómetro unidireccional (4): cámbielo a cero al girar el botón de inicio y mida la cantidad de kilómetros recorridos.
Tacómetro (5): indica las revoluciones por minuto a la que está operando la motocicleta.
Indicador de luces altas (6): Se enciende una luz color azul cuando se activan las luces altas
Indicador de marcha (7): señala en qué marcha está la motocicleta actualmente.
Indicador de señal direccional (8): la señal direccional está funcionando cuando se enciende la luz del indicador de señal direccional.
Interruptor de arranque
Posición de “APAGADO” (“OFF”)
Todo el circuito eléctrico se encuentra desconectado. La llave puede ser retirada.
Posición de “ENCENDIDO” (“ON”)

El circuito de arranque está encendido, lo que permite iniciar el motor. Es imposible retirar la llave de la ignición cuando está en esta posición.
Posición “P”
Posición y luz trasera están funcionando. La llave puede ser retirada de la ignición en esta posición.
Aviso: cuando deje su motocicleta en algún lugar, asegúrese de retirar la llave y de trabar el manubrio.
Sistema de Control de Puños
1. Palanca de embrague
Accione la palanca para desconectar el sistema de manejo cuando vaya a iniciar el motor o cambiar
de marcha. Usted desconecta el embrague al apretar la palanca.
2. Manubrio
3. Botón de bocina
Presione el botón para sonar la bocina.
4. Interruptor de señal direccional
Deslizar el interruptor hacia la posición <= hará que la direccional izquierda comience a parpadear.
Deslizar el interruptor hacia la posición => hará que la direccional derecha comience a parpadear.
5. Interruptor de graduación.
Cuando el interruptor se empuja hacia abajo, a la posición “<=”, se enciende la luz alta; cuando el interruptor se empuja hacia arriba, a la
posición“=>”, se enciende la luz baja.
6. vInterruptor de luz alta inmediata
Presiónelo para activar la luz alta, suéltelo y la luz alta se apagará. Utilícelo cuando vaya a adelantar a otro vehículo.

7. Interruptor para apagado de motor
Generalmente está en la posición de ENCENDIDO; en situaciones de emergencia, deslícelo a la posición de APAGADO para apagar el motor.
8. Interruptor de luces
H Activar luces, luz de estacionamiento, luz de tablero, y luz trasera.
P Activar luz de estacionamiento, luz de tablero y luz trasera.
• Desactivar todas las luces.
9. Interruptor de arranque
Presiónelo para iniciar el motor.
10. Puño del acelerador
Este puño es utilizado para controlar la velocidad del motor. Gírelo en sentido contrario a las manecillas del reloj (hacia el conductor) para
incrementar la velocidad; gírelo en sentido de las manecillas del reloj para disminuir la velocidad.
11. Palanca de freno delantero
Al accionar la palanca del freno delantero se activará el freno delantero.
Seguro para trabar manubrio

•Gire el manubrio en sentido contrario a las manecillas del reloj hasta el punto límite. Luego inserte la llave y gírela en sentido de las manecillas
del reloj para trabar el manubrio.
•Gire la llave en sentido contrario a las manecillas del reloj para destrabar el manubrio.
Atención
Si el manubrio está trabado, la motocicleta no puede ser manejada, de lo contrario perderá el balance.

Inserte la llave de ignición y gírela en sentido de las manecillas del reloj para abrir la tapa. Esto permitirá que pueda retirar la tapa y la llave. Para
cerrar la tapa, alíniela con la flecha y empuje la tapa y la llave hacia abajo sobre el hueco del tanque de gasolina hasta que escuche un sonido,
el cual indicará que la tapa está cerrada. Finalmente, retire la llave.
Atención
Evite verter una cantidad excesiva de combustible; esto puede causar derrames. Nunca derrame gasolina sobre el motor caliente.
No añada combustible sobre la válvula del tanque, tal como lo muestra la Figura. De lo contrario las altas temperaturas provocarán
que la gasolina se derrame. El motor debe estar apagado mientras se llena el tanque y el interruptor de arranque debe estar en
posición de APAGADO. No fume cerca de la motocicleta mientras llena el tanque.
Interruptor del combustible
La perilla está en posición ENCENDIDO cuando se conduce normalmente (flujo de combustible)
La perilla está en posición RES cuando se usa el combustible de reserva
La perilla está en posición APAGADO cuando el vehículo está estacionado.
Tenga cuidado
Después de recurrir al gas de reserva, añada gasolina 90 o más que no contenga plomo.
A la hora de estacionarse coloque el manubrio en posición de APAGADO.

Sistema ahogador del carburador
Esta motocicleta está equipada con un ahogador, lo cual hace que el arranque sea más fácil. Baje la palanca del ahogador a la posición más
baja para poder arrancar el motor en frío. Una vez que el motor haya arrancado, suba la palanca a la posición media y deje que el motor
se caliente gradualmente. Cuando el motor llegue a la temperatura normal de funcionamiento vuelva a poner la palanca del ahogador en la
posición original.
El sistema ahogador funciona únicamente cuando el acelerador está totalmente cerrado. Si acelera durante el período de calentamiento, el
combustible irá al motor desde el sistema de aceleración en vez de ir al sistema ahogador.
Cuando el motor esté a altas temperaturas no es necesario utilizar el sistema de ahogado para arrancar.

Cerradura del casco
Para abrir la cerradura del casco, inserte la llave de ignición en la cerradura y gírela en sentido de las manecillas del reloj hasta que se abra.
Enganche la hebilla del casco en la cerradura y bloquéelo antes de retirar la llave. Para bloquearlo presione hacia adentro.
Pedal de cambio
Este modelo de motocicleta está equipado con una transmisión de cinco velocidades (marchas). El orden de funcionamiento de las marchas
se muestra en la Figura. El pedal de cambio está acoplado al mecanismo de transmisión. Luego de cambiar de marcha el pedal de cambio
regresará a su posición original, de manera que se pueda cambiar a la siguiente marcha. En el modo neutro, presione el pedal y una marcha
más baja entrará. Cada vez que mueva el pedal hacia arriba, entrará una marcha más alta. Debido al mecanismo de transmisión, solo puede
entrar una marcha a la vez.

Pedal de arranque
El tirador de arranque está en el lado derecho del motor de la motocicleta.
Tenga cuidado
Cuando se encienda el motor, revise que la palanca de arranque regrese a su posición normal.
Ajuste del amortiguador trasero
El resorte del amortiguador trasero se puede ajustar de acuerdo con la cantidad de carga, con el método de conducción y con el estado de la
carretera. El conductor puede escoger con libertad una de las cinco marchas.
Apoye la motocicleta sobre el soporte central. Usando un desatornillador, gire el regulador del resorte hasta alcanzar la posición que desea.
La posición estándar es en la 2da marcha.

Atención
La posición de ajuste de los amortiguadores derecho e izquierdo traseros debe ser igual.
Pedal de freno trasero
Al pisar este pedal, simultáneamente se accionará el freno trasero y el indicador de freno en el panel de instrumentos se activará.
El manual se encuentra dentro de la caja de herramientas que se encuentra debajo del lado derecho de la motocicleta.
Indicaciones para el uso de combustible y de aceite de motor
Combustible
Por favor utilice gasolina que no contenga plomo. Si escucha una explosión en el motor, puede haber sido causada por uso inapropiado del
combustible. Por lo tanto, reemplace el combustible.
Nota: Utilizar combustible sin plomo puede prolongar la vida útil de la bujía.

Aceite de Motor
Utilizar aceite de motor para motocicletas de cuatro tiempos puede prolongar la vida útil de su motor. Por favor utilice aceite certificado por el
Instituto Norteamericano de Petróleo (API) con nivel de servicio SE o SD y viscosidad SAE10W40. Si tiene dificultades encontrando este tipo
de aceite, refiérase a la información que aparece a continuación para obtener un sustituto recomendado.
3. Operación
Los primero 1600 km son los más importantes con respecto a la vida útil de su motocicleta. Una operación inicial adecuada le asegurará al
vehículo una vida útil prolongada y un rendimiento óptimo.
Velocidad máxima
Los límites de aceleración para una motocicleta nueva se detallan a continuación:
Varíe la velocidad del motor
El motor debe cambiar de velocidad a menudo, en vez de permanecer siempre a la misma velocidad.
Evite conducir a velocidad constante

Permita que el aceite de motor circule antes de conducir el vehículo
Primer mantenimiento
El mantenimiento luego de los primero 1000 km de millaje es el más importante.
Tenga cuidado
Durante el rodaje del vehículo, tanto los componentes del motor como el resto de las partes están involucrados. Por lo tanto, los ajustes
necesarios y el reemplazo del aceite de transmisión contaminado deben realizarse con anticipación.

4. Revise antes de conducir
No olvide revisar los siguientes elementos antes de conducir su motocicleta; no ignore la importancia de estas revisiones.

5. Consejos para conducir
Encienda el motor
Revise que la válvula de combustible esté en posición de “ENCENDIDO”; introduzca la llave en la ignición y gírela en sentido de las manecillas
del reloj para arrancar el motor. Si el vehículo está en neutro se encenderá la luz correspondiente en el panel de instrumentos.
Precaución:
Cuando arranque el motor, las marchas deben estar en neutro, el embrague encendido y el conductor en posición correcta.
Abra los dispositivos de arranque en frío completamente, cierre la válvula de ahogo del carburador y arranque el vehículo presionando el botón
de encendido. Cierre los dispositivos de arranque en frío por la mitad hasta que el motor se caliente; luego regréselos a su posición inicial
(completamente cerrado). En clima frío es posible que el motor requiera más tiempo para calentarse.
Cuando el motor está caliente
1. El interruptor de ignición está en posición de ENCENDIDO
2. Acelere y mantenga las revoluciones por minuto a 1/8 o a 1/4 de su máxima capacidad.
3. Encienda el motor pisando la palanca de arranque
Tenga cuidado
Cuando encienda el motor recupere el control de la palanca del acelerador.

Empiece preparación
No ruede la motocicleta al momento de encender el motor.
Recupere el sistema ahogador del carburador
el calentamiento puede finalizarse cuando las revoluciones del motor cambien con la rotación del sistema ahogador del carburador.
Tenga cuidado
Durante el período de calentamiento no rote el motor a alta velocidad para evitar daños.
Empezar a conducir
• Revise que el soporte central no esté extendido.
• Encienda el motor despacio
• Cambie gradualmente y de forma simultánea la marcha y la velocidad.
• Accione el pedal de cambio luego de que el acelerador esté en su posición original y de que el embrague esté puesto.
Tenga cuidado
Si el soporte central no es flexible, añada un poco de aceite a la parte correspondiente.
El indicador de la temperatura del motor no debería alcanzar el área de color rojo en el tacómetro. Frene y pare.
Use el freno delantero y el trasero simultánemente.
Evite frenar en seco.
Los frenos trasero y delantero deben ser usados con la palanca de aceleración cuando se conduce en descenso o a altas velocidades.

Tenga cuidado
Si acciona solamente uno de los dos frenos al conducir en una carretera resbaladiza, la motocicleta puede volcarse.
Asimismo, al conducir en una carretera mojada el vehículo se puede volcar si se frena.
Tenga cuidado
Si se conduce en terreno mojado o si la motocicleta se lavó recientemente, el impacto de los frenos se va a ver reducido de forma temporal.
Por consiguiente, conduzca a una velocidad baja y frene con cuidado hasta que los frenos recuperen su capacidad.
Cambie la marcha y luego cierre el motor.

Remueva la cubierta izquierda del chasís para revisar el líquido de batería. Mantenga el nivel entre el MÁX y el MÍN. Si el nivel está por debajo
del mínimo, añada agua destilada hasta el máximo. El agua de tubo está rotundamenete prohibida para este fin.
Advertencia
No ponga ácido sulfúrico en la batería una vez que haya empezado a utilizarla.
Tenga cuidado
No opere el vehículo con la ventilación de la batería doblada o aplastada. Asegúrese que un extremo de la manguera para aire esté
conectado a la batería y que el otro extremo esté siempre abierto. No confunda la tubería de ventilación y mantenga la batería en
la posición correcta.
Preste especial cuidado al conectar los electrodos de la batería; ¡no revierta la polaridad! Conecte la pinza color rojo al electrodo
positivo (+) y la pinza color negro al electrodo negativo (-). Conectar la pinza al electrodo incorrecto puede dañar el sistema de
carga y la batería.
Filtro de aire

Si el filtro de aire se satura de polvo, aumentará la resistencia del aire de entrada y disminuirá la potencia de salida; también se
incrementa el consumo de combustible. Para evitar esto, recuerde revisar y limpiar el filtro de aire cada 3000 kilómetros según las
siguientes instrucciones.
1. Desprenda la cobertura lateral del lado izquierdo
2. Afloje el tornillo y retire la cobertura del filtro de aire.
3. Remueva el filtro del marco
Tenga cuidado
A la hora de armar la cubierta del limpiador de aire, la marca de “ARRIBA” debe estar en la parte superior.
Método de limpieza
1. Limpie el filtro con la cantidad apropiada de detergente ininflamable.
2. Presione el filtro para sacar el líquido.
3. Introduzca el filtro a un recipiente con aceite y sumérjalo. Luego saque el aceite presionando el filtro.

Tenga cuidado
No enrolle el filtro. De lo contrario se quebrará o dañará.
Cambie el filtro en caso de que se quiebre.
Reintroduzca el filtro de aire a su alojamiento revirtiendo el proceso mencionado arriba. Verifique que el filtro de aire esté bien colocado y que
esté bien ajustado al espacio específicamente determinado para ese propósito.
Tenga cuidado
No encienda el motor sin el filtro de aire o de lo contrario el motor se desgastará debido a la fricción. Revise de manera periódica
las condiciones del motor para segurar su vida útil.
Bujía

Después de los primeros 1000 km y cada 3000 km limpie con una escobilla de metal o con un cepillo limpia bujías el carbón que se adhiere a
las bujías. Utilice el medidor de grosor para calibrar la bujía y mantenerla entre 0.6 y 0.7 mm. Remplace la bujía cada 6000 km.

Reemplazo de aceite
Añada aceite nuevo mientras el motor esté caliente.
Método:
• Apoye la motocicleta sobre el soporte central.
• Retire la tapa del depósito de aceite.
• Retire el tapón de drenaje que debajo del motor; drene el aceite.

Carburador
Un carburador estable es vital para el buen funcionamiento de un motor. Desde incluso antes de que el propietario haya adquirido la motocicleta,
el fabricante configura el rendimiento de la vaporización del carburador a un valor específico; NO cambie este valor. Note que pueda ajustar la
holgura del cable de arranque y el ralentí con los tornillos correspondientes del carburador. Realice estos ajustes a los 1000 km y o cada 3000
km, dependiendo de su proceso de mantenimiento.
Ajuste del ralentí del carburador
1. Arranque el motor y déjelo correr para que se caliente
2. Después, ajuste el tornillo de ralentí y acelere el motor hasta alcanzar 1500 revoluciones por minuto.
Nota: Si hay un tacómetro, haga los ajustes necesarios según se indica arriba.
Tenga cuidado:
Ajuste el tornillo de ralentí del carburador ÚNICAMENTE después de que el motor alcance su temperatura normal de funcionamiento.

Ajuste de la holgura del cable de arranque
1. Afloje la tuerca de fijación (1).
2. Afloje o talle el tornillo de ajuste (2) hasta ajustar el rango de holgura a 0.5-1.0 mm.
3. Después del ajuste vuelva a tallar la tuerca de fijación.
Tenga cuidado
Después del ajuste asegúrese de que el puño acelerador regrese automáticamente a la posición de ralentí y se mantenga estable. Asegúrese
también de que no aumente la velocidad de ralentí al doblar mientras conduce.
Ajuste del embrague
Apriete suavemente la palanca del embrague hasta sentir resistencia. La holgura del cable de embrague debe ser 4 mm; si la holgura es menor
o mayor, ajústela por medio del siguiente proceso:

1. Afloje la tuerca que ajusta la holgura del cable de embrague (1).
2. Talle el tornillo de ajuste (2) hasta el límite en el sentido de las manecillas del reloj.
3. Afloje la tuerca de cierre (3) y mueva la tuerca de ajuste (4) hasta llegar a la holgura requerida (4mm).
4. Ajuste las tuercas (1) y (3) y por último cubra el hule.
Durante este tiempo, lubrique el cable con aceite para máquinas. Ajuste la holgura.
Ajuste de la faja de transmisión
Siga el siguiente método para ajustar la faja de transmisión cada 1000 km.
1. Apoye la motocicleta sobre su soporte central.
2. Retire el pasador de chaveta (1) y afloje las tuercas (2) y (3).
3. Ajuste la faja con el tornillo de ajuste (4) hasta alcanzar la distancia entre los dos piñones en 20-30 mm. Las marcas de las dos tuercas de
ajuste deben estar al mismo nivel para lograr la posición correcta del neumático.
4. Talle la tuerca y cierre con un pasador de chaveta nuevo.

Nota: Cuando instale una nueva faja de transmisión, los dos piñones de la faja deben revisarse. De ser necesario, reemplácelos.
Freno trasero
Revise los frenos después de los primeros 1000 km o cada 5000 km después de eso.
Inspección del freno delantero
Palanca de freno
Revise que el sistema trasero de frenos se haya ajustado apropiadamente.
Accione el freno y compruebe que la extensión del freno esté dentro de 5 – 20 mm.
Caja de líquido hidráulico
Revise que la capacidad de almacenamiento de aceite del tanque esté dentro de los límites estipulados.
Revise si hay líquido chorreando alrededor de la caja.

Complementariedad del líquido de frenos
• Cuando el líquido no sea suficiente, remueba la tapa y añada el líquido de freno hasta el punto máximo.
• Luego cierre la tapa.
• El líquido de frenos puede dañar el acabado en barniz de la superficie. Si el líquido salpica, límpielo inmediatamente.
Tenga cuidado
El complemento del líquido de frenos no puede pasarse del punto MÁX.
Esté atento a que ningún material extraño caiga en la caja mientra está añadiendo el líquido de frenos.
No mezcle líquido de frenos de diferentes marcas.
Si el líquido de frenos se consume muy rápido, revise si hay grietas en el sistema de frenos.
Ajuste del freno trasero
Primero ajuste el pedal en la posición de su preferencia y luego ajuste su movibilidad (1) entre 5 y 15 mm.
La holgura puede ajustarse al rotar el ajustador del freno trasero (2).

Abrasión del freno trasero
Si los frenos derecho e izquierdo se ajustan de acuerdo al valor estipulado sin perfecta efectividad, por seguridad cambie el supresor.
Interruptor del freno delantero y trasero
El interruptor del freno delantero está debajo del freno (manubrio). Para encontrar el punto adecuado para encender el foco, afloje el tornillo
y mueva el interruptor.
Interruptor del freno trasero
El interruptor del freno trasero está al lado derecho del chasís. Simplemente deslice el interruptor para que se encienda automáticamente la
luz de frenado cada vez que accione el pedal.
Llantas
Revise la presión de aire y el desgaste de las llantas. Asimismo, para salvaguardar la vida del conductor y extender la vida útil de las llantas, es
vital darle mantenimiento al vehículo y realizar las inspecciones regularmente.
Presión de las llantas
Si la presión del neumático es muy alta o muy baja la maniobrabilidad del vehículo se verá comprometida y el neumático se desgastará de
manera acelerada. Presión de aire insuficiente dificulta doblar al conducir la motocicleta. Sin embargo, exceso de presión reduce el área
de contacto entre la llanta y el suelo y, por consiguiente, puede hacer que la motocicleta se deslice y que el conductor pierda el control del
vehículo. La presión de aire se debe mantener dentro del límite especificado. Ajuste la presión de las llantas mientras estén frías.

Condición óptima de la superficie de rodamiento
Conducir una motocicleta con llantas excesivamente gastadas disminuirá la estabilidad de la operación y puede llevar al conductor a perder el
control. Se deben reemplazar las llantas cuando se reduzca la superficie a 1.6 mm (0.06 pulgadas) o a menos que este valor.
Advertencia
Es importante mantener la presión de las llantas a un nivel normal para el desempeño y seguridad de la motocicleta. Por lo tanto,
revise el desgaste de las motocicletas y presión de las llantas.
Caja de fusibles
Gire el interruptor de ignición a posición de APAGADO y revise si la caja de fusibles está funcionando de forma correcta.

Si el fusible está cortado, cámbielo guiándose por el estándar.
Advertencia
Asegúrese de remplazar los fusibles dañados con repuestos del mismo amperaje para evitar quemar más fusibles.
NO utilice papel aluminio, alambre de acero u otros sustitutos como repuesto. Si el fusible se quema con cierta regularidad y
poco después de reemplazarlo, lo más seguro es que haya un problema con el circuito. En estos casos es recomendable llevar la

Cambio de focos
Encuentre a continuación las potencias para las distintas luces de la motocicleta. Asegúrese de cambiar las bombillas quemadas por repuestos
con la misma potencia nominal. De lo contrario se puede causar una sobrecarga en el circuito y quemar prematuramente los focos.

Handlebar Control System
I. Clutch Lever
Grip this lever to disengage the driving system at the time of starting the engine or shifting the gear. Disengage the clutch by grasping the lever.
2. Handle
3. Horn Button
Press this button to make the horn sound.
4. Turn signal switch
Sliding the switch to the — position will flash the left turn signal.
Moving the switch to the — position will flash the right turn signal. & Dimmer switch
When the switch is pushed up to the “•13” position,the high beam will be lit; When the switch
is pushed down to the “*” ,the low beam will be lit.
6. The headlamp sparking switch
Press it then the high beam lamp is lighted,loosen it the lamp is out. Which is used for overtaking.

7. Flameout switch of engine
It usually on the RUN position, under urgent condition , turn it to OFF to stop engine. Lamp switch
H lamdlight, parking light, panel light and taillight working.
P parking light, panel light and taillight working.

8. Start switch
Press it to start engine.
9. Throttle control Grip
The grip is used to control the speed of the engine. Turn it anti-clockwise (towards yourself) to speed up, turn it clockwise to slow down.
10. Front brake lever Squeezing the front brake lever will apply the front brake.

• Turn the handle anti-clockwise to thccxtremc point, insert key and sum it clockwise to lock the handle.
•Turn key anti-clockwise to open it.
Attention
if the handlebar is locked, the motorcycle can not be pushed any more; otherwise you will lose balance.
Fuel Tank Cap

Insert the ignition key and turn it clockwise to open cap. Then the cap can be removed together with the key. To close the cap, align with the
arrow and push down the cap and the key on the hole of the tank cap till the locking sound is beard. Finally pull out the key.
Attention
The gasoline tank should not be
overfilled. Never spill gasoline on hot engine. Never add the fuel over tank inlet as shovm in the Fig. Otherwise cspansion of the
gasoline owing to higher temperature will cause overflow.
The engine should be stopped during the refilling, and the ignition switch should be turned to OFF. No smoking during the refilling.
Fuel switch
“ON” the knob’s position when riding normally.(gas flows)
“RES” the knob’s position when using spare gas.
“OFF” the knob’s position when prating
CAUTION
After reversing to RES,pls add Oct¬ane rating 90 or higher gas without lead.
When parking, put the handle to OFF.

Carburetor Choke System
To open the helmet lock, insert the ignition key into the lock and turn it clockwise until the lock is open. Hook the buckle of helmet to the lock
and lock it before removing the key. To lock it, push it inward.
Gear Shift lever
easier. Push down the choke lever to the lowest position in order to start the engine under the cold state. Once the engine is started, lift up the
choke lever to half and let the engine gradually warm up. When the engine acquires the normal working temperature reset the choke lever to
original position.
The choke systeth works only when the throttle is entirely closed. If the throttle grip is turned during the worming-up period, the fuel will be
supplied to the engine from the throttle system, instead of the choke system.
When the engine is in the state of high temperature, there is no need to use the choke system for starting.

Helmet lock
Para abrir la cerradura del casco, inserte la llave de ignición en la cerradura y gírela en sentido de las manecillas del reloj hasta que se abra.

Shift pedal
This model of motorcycle is equipped with a four-shift gear-in transmission system. The working order of the gaushift is as shown in the Fig.
The lever is connected to the ratchet of the gearshift. It will return automatically to its original position after selection of a certain gear so that it
is possible to change to the next gear. In the neutral mode, press the lever and the low gear will be engaged. Each time the lever is shifted up,
a higher gear is engaged. With the ratchet mechanism. only one upper or lower gear is engaged each lint

Kick Starting Level
This type of motorcycle is provided with a kick starter lever on the right of the engine.
Caution
When engine is started, check if the starting lever return to its normal position.
Adjustment of rear shock absorber
The spring of the rear absorber could be adjusted according to loading condition, riding method and road condition. One of the five shifts could
be chosen freely by yourself.
Fasten motorcycle by center stand, rotating the spring regulator by screw driver on the position you want.
The standard position is on the second Shift.

The adjustment position of M. rear shock absorber should homology.
Rear Brake Pedal
When stepping on this pedal, the rear brake functions and the brake indicator on the instrument panel will be lit simultaneously.

Please use unlead gasoline. If slight explosion sound comes from the engine, the possible cause might be improper using of general fuel. thus
please replace
Note: Use unleaded fuel can prolong the life of the spark plug.

Motor oil
Used motor oil for four-stroke motorcycles can prolong the life of your engine. Please use oil certified by the American Petroleum Institute (API)
level of service and viscosity SE or SD SAE10W40. If you have trouble finding this type of oil, refer to information below for a recommended
substitute.
3. Operation
The first 1,600 km are the most important with respect to the life of your motorcycle. Proper initial operation will ensure the vehicle long life and
optimum performance.

5. Correct running operation
Start the Engine
Check if the fuel switch is Set to “ON” position. Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn clockwise to ON. If the transmission system is in
neutral mode Currently, the neutral indicator Should be lit.
CAUTION
When starting the engine, the ge¬arshift Should be in neutral mode andthe clutch switched on, and the ridersits on the correct
position.
Open the cold start devices completely, close the choke valve of the carburetor and start the vehicle by pressing the power button. Close the
cold start devices in half until the engine is hot; then return them to their initial (completely closed) position. In cold weather the engine may
require longer to warm up.
When the engine is hot
1. The ignition switch is in the ON position
2. Accelerate and keep the rpm at 1/8 or 1/4 of its maximum capacity.
3. Turn the engine start lever treading

CAUTION

• Start slowly
• Change the shift gradually cou¬pled with the change of speed.
• Operate the gear pedal after the throttle control level is on original pos¬ition and the clutch level be enclasped.
CAUTION
If the center stand is not flexible, add some oil to the rotate part.
The indicator of the engine temperature should not reach the red area on the tachometer. Brake and stop.
Use the front brake and the rear simultánemente.
Avoid braking dry.
The front and rear brakes should be used with the throttle when driving downhill or at high speeds.

The battery fluid level is visible by removing the left chassis cover. The level must be kept between the MAX and MIN limits. If the level is below
the lower limit, dd distilled water to the upper limit. Tap water is absolutely prohibited for this purpose.
WARNING
Once the battery Is put into use, no diluted sulfuric acid should be poured into the battery any longer.
CAUTION
Do not band, block or change the air vent pipe of the battery. Ensure one end of the air hose is connected closely to the battery
fitting and the other end is always kept open. The air vent pipe should not he mistaken and the battery should be placed In the right
position.
Make sure that the polarities of the battery terminals are correctly conn¬ected. The red lead must be connected to the positive
terminal and the black lead to the negative terminal. Any mistake in wiring may cause damage to the charging system and the
batten itself.
Air Filter

If dust clogs the air filter element , intake resistance increases as the output power decreases. The increase of gaso¬line content in
the mixing gas leads to the Increasing of fuel consumption. To avoid this, check and clean the air filter clement as the following steps
after riding for every 3,000 km.
I. Remove the left cover
2. Loose the fixing sae oand remove the air filter component .
3. Take down the filter from the frame.
CAUTION
When assembling the cover of air cleaner, the mark of “UP” should be on the top.
Cleaning Method
1. Clean the filter with the appropriate amount of non-flammable detergent.
2. Press the filter to remove the liquid.
3. Insert the filter bowl with oil and dip. Then remove the oil by pressing the filter.

Don’ t coil buckling filter element, or it will be break,every singsl bag of the filter element will be damaged.
The filter should be changed if It was broken.
The filler element which had been cleaned should be recovered according to the opposite sequence of loading and make sure whether the
components or the filter clement had been fixed on the stated position and been airproofed.
CAUTION
Don’t start engine without air filter, or the engine w ill be abrased . work condition should be checked &Nonni) to ensure engine ‘s
lifetime.
Spark Plug

After the first 1000 km and every 3000 km wipe with a metal brush or brush plugs clean coal adhering to the spark plugs. Use the thickness
gauge to calibrate the spark plug and keep it between 0.6 and 0.7 mm. Replace the spark plug every 6000 km.

Method:
• Put the moturcyck on the center stand .
• Unbolt the oil filler plug.
• Dismount the oil drain plug which is under engine, release original oil.

Carburetor
The stability of carburetor contributes to the performance of the engine. The carburetor has been adjusted to the best state before leaving the
factory. Please do not attempt to make unnecessary adjustment. Note that the carburetor has two adjustment items which are throttle cable
clearance and idle speed. The new motorcycle should be adjusted according to the following method after running for 1,000 km or every 3,000
km. Adjustment of the Carburetor’s Idle Silted (rpm)
Carburetor idle speed adjustment
1. Start the engine and let it run to warm
2. Then adjust the idle screw and accelerate the engine up to 1500 rpm.
Note: If there is a tachometer, make adjustments as the above stated.
CAUTION
The idle speed should be adjusted with the engine fully warming up.

Adjustment of the Throttle Cable Clearance
I. Loose the locking nut 1.
2. Turn the adjusteta so that the cable clearance is kept within a range of 0.5 - 1.0 mm.
3. Tighten the locking nut after adjusting the clearance.
CAUTION
After the adjustment of cable, check the grip to see Kit can be turned normally. i he idle speed should not be Increased due to this adjustment.
The throttle grip should be able to turn freely.
Adjustment of the Clutch
Before the clutch is rcleased, the cable clearance measured from the lever of clutch should be 4 mm. If the clearance fails to meet this
requirement, make an adjustment as the following method.

I. Loose the locking nut ®
2. Turn the adjuster2 to the end in the direction of clockwise.
3. loose the locking nut ® and move the adjuster ® to make clearance up to 4mm.
4. Tighten the locking nut ® and ® and finally cover the rubber.
During this time, lubricate the cable with machine oil.
Adjustment of the Driving Chain Adjusting the tightness of driving chain alter running for every 1,000 km.
I. Support the motorcycle with the center stand.
2. Remove the cotter phipand loose the nut® and ;
3. Adjust the adjuster ® to make the tightness of driving chain so that the movable distance between the two
Chain sprockets is kept within 20 - 30mm. the marks of the two adjuster must be at the same scale to make the right wheel position .
4.tight the nut and lock with a new cotter pin.

Note: When a new chain is replaced, the two chain sprockets must be checked. If necessary, make replacement.
Rear brake
The new motorcycle should be checked after running for 1,000 km or every 5000 km.
Examination of the front brake
Brake lever
Fasten upon the handlc,measure the distance from the original position to the position where you feel some resistance.
Move distance: 5-20mm
Hydraulic liquid box
Check whether the tankage of the oil is in stipulation scope.
Check whether the liquid leaks around the box.

Braking fluid Complementarily
• When the liquid isn’t enough, unbolt lid, complement Braking fluid th MAX.
• Close the lid after complementing.
• Brake fluid may enrode the surface ache lacquer finish,clean it immediately when the fluid spatters on the surface.
CAUTION
Complement of the braking fluid could not overrun the MAX.
Present extraneous material ent¬ering liquid box when adding braking fluid.
Don ‘t mix braking fluid with different brands together.
If the braking fluid consumes too fast, check whether the braking system leaks.
Adjustment of the rear brake
First, fix the padel on the position which you feel comfortable, then adjust the free path @ to 5-I5mm,
that is to say the stated clearance is avaible by rotating rear brake adjuster

Abrasion of rear brake
If the front and the rear brake arc adjusted at the stated value without prefect effective,pls change discreteness of the arrester to ensure safety.
Front rear brake lamp switch
The position of front brake switch is under the brake handle.Loosening screw,
moving the switch,find out the proper fixed point to lit lamp.
Rear Brake Lamp Switch
This switch is mounted at the right-chassis. To adjust it up and down can make the brake lamp being lit on treading on pedal with a little force.
Tire
Check the air pressure and tire tread. For the sake of safety and longer service time, the air pressure of tire should be often checked.
Air Pressure of Tires
If the air pressure of tires is not su¬fficient, it not only speeds up the wear¬ing of tire, but also extremely affects the stability of motorcycle.
Insufficient air pressure makes the motorcycle difficult to turn. But excessive air pressure may decrease the contact area between the tire and
ground and lead to the slipping of motorcycle and even losing control. The air pressure should be always kept with the specified limit. Adjust
the air pressure as the tire is cold.

Riding on the motorcycle with its tire excessively worn will decrease the sta¬bility of operation, and may be out of control accordingly. When the
depth of outer tire tread is reduced to 1.6 mm (0.06 inch) or less than this value, repl¬acement of outer tire is recommended.
WARNING
It is very important for the air pressure of tires to keep the normal performance and safety of motorcycle. There fore, often check
the wearing state and air pressure of tires.
Fuse
Turn the ignition switch to OFF, check whether the fuse is ok.
