Feature – Security level / Password security
The security level of IVM can be changed from “Normal“ (Default) to „High”. In the
HiPath 3000 Manager E this flag will be called “Force password change“.
The security level “High“ has the following effects:
1.) The mailbox user has to change the password first in case of new mailboxes. The
default password “1234“ is not accepted. Existing mailbox users who use this
password also have to change their password at the next login.
2.) If the configured number of attempts for remote login via TUI are exceeded, the
mailbox will be locked for TUI access. To unlock the mailbox, the Service
administrator or Super user has to reset the mailbox password to default “1234“.
3.) Callback requests of the mobility feature from registered Caller IDs also have to be
authenticated with a password.
Seite 39

Feature – Automatic Call Transfer
Depending on the call ID number, the call is transfered to a defined
destination. The mailbox needs the COS-Bit “Recognition of source
number”.
If the option “Identify caller number”
is active, the caller ID of the caller will
be matched to the configured
incoming numbers in the index order.
If the number matches, the call will be
transfered to the associated
destination via blind transfer. The
indexes 1 and 10 follows a special
rule. If no incoming number is
configured, the caller will be
transferred directly to the associated
destination by reaching the number
check in the index order.

assigned to the group mailbox. The assigned member can also have a private mailbox
configured.

recorded message will be stored in the group mailbox message store. All members
receive a message waiting indication (MWI).
If a call to a member without a private mailbox reaches the IVM, “no mailbox available”
is played.
If a call to a member with a private mailbox reaches the IVM, the private greeting is
played and the recorded message is stored in the private message store. Only the
private station receives an MWI.
