Artificial intelligence has come to make difficult tasks easier for us, but it can also create new jobs and career opportunities in areas such as programming, algorithm development, and the supervision and maintenance of AI systems. AI can be used to optimize existing processes, to improve procedures, or to disrupt certain sectors. We will define it as a science in full discovery that is related to certain scientific knowledge of computing. AI tries to understand how human minds work and adapt to our behavior. Its intention is not that of a simple machine that receives instructions, but rather as a guide to speed up our reasoning and learning quickly.This is precisely why AI is a tool that we can use to our advantage, to strengthen capacity in the Computer Science industry. Because computer science not only covers the area of artificial intelligence but is also about technological tools in general that we can use in our daily lives, we will talk about a diversity of examples that occur in the business area. We will show the advantages and disadvantages that influence human brain activity, as well as the appropriate use that will be given to technology in the academic field. The main objective of this project is to advise on how AI supports the computing industry, being recognized as an area of computer science. ENGLISH FINAL PROJECT ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AS AN ÁREA OF COMPUTER SCIENCE Computer science represents for excellence a branch of engineering that deals with the design, creation, modification and evolution of both logical machines and computational physical machines; it also contemplates the mechanisms that integrate artificial intelligence in their design and operation, the study of the formal bases of information and computation, necessary to conceptualize new technologies and computing solutions, as well as the treatment of the massive information available, which is produced in a world based on data. It attempts to use mathematics for cryptography and encryption to protect system information. The way in which codes are created that tell a program how to function and fulfill its objectives. It is in charge of following rules and parameters to be able to write the code, as it happens with a language. It is done through the use of algorithms, these are the instructions that programs follow to function correctly. Which are Computer Engineering, Software Engineering and Information Technology. It is not that they do not fall into this science, what we want to bring is that these become part, but do not have the same functionality. People often use the term "Computer Science" for any field that involves programming, hardware or software, in some ways they are right cause programming is an area inside Computer Science. Some of the best known applications of computer science are: - - Artificial Intelligence (AI). It allows the synthesis of processes such as problem solving, decision making, adaptation to the environment, learning and communication in machines using this technology. Computer networks. Facilitates the management of connectivity between computer networks in the world, both for local (LAN) and wide (WAN) connections. - Databases. It allows to manage these databases through digital systems of storage, creation and maintenance. It also facilitates faster access to any information. - Health informatics. It is applied through the use of medical software and is part of health technologies. Its objective is to provide service to health professionals in order to improve the quality of health care. - Software engineering. The study of the design, implementation and modification of software to ensure its quality, affordability, ease of maintenance and speed of construction. Computer science professionals are capable of creating technologies to further transform the world. Currently, there are few conventions that specifically bring together which disciplines belong to the field of computing. This is due to the fact that, within technology, computing is extremely broad compared to other subjects, this still in continuous evolution. The approach of technology in computer science The Turing Test, proposed by Alan Turing (1950), was designed to provide a satisfactory operational definition of intelligence. That is, instead of presenting a list of qualities necessary to obtain intelligence artificially, he suggested a test based on the inability to differentiate between intelligent entities and human beings. The computer passes the test if a human evaluator is unable to distinguish whether the answers, to a series of questions posed, are from a person or not. At present, we can say that developing a system to pass the test requires considerable work. The system should possess the following capabilities (Russell & Norvig, 2004). We have a lot of areas and technology testing, and AI brings a lot to it. Today we have several ways to use it on a daily basis. Mostly these programs are more used by students. Like: Chatbots, Artificial intelligence technology, through chatbot, can also help direct customers to a real-life representative who is better equipped to answer their questions and thus improve their user experience. Among the jobs most susceptible to automation are those outsourced by companies: for example, those who review tax returns and fill charts and tables with numbers on a daily basis to generate data and comparative analysis. The impact of AI on job creation and job loss is often misunderstood. We can see throughout history that human beings have improved their environment and have facilitated many jobs, the main idea of creating new tools is that: to make easier a task that previously demanded a lot of effort, an example of this can be the automobile, with its help it is easier to move long distances, more comfortable and with less effort. It is a tool that we must know how to take advantage of, especially computer engineers who make greater use of technology. The advances presented by this technology are very impressive, however, there is still a long way to go. Often specialized for a specific type of problem, general-purpose AI is still at an early stage. At present, AI in many businesses still requires human supervision. The jobs that AI is starting to take over are those that are repetitive and in which decision making is basic, so these types of jobs are also the most boring.
