Mission of the position: Leading the strategy of the data architecture area, including Define, support and implement the Data Management best practices for Avianca Holding. Aligning and integrate the definitions with the enterprise architect and analytics area. Assuring all the data implementations will work with the better options for the company in a cost-benefit way. Work as unique team with the security team to protect the Avianca’s information. Main Responsibilities: Understand the business problems and opportunities to design data architecture solutions and solve functional and technical needs. Define, support, and implement the strategy and standards for Avianca Holding architecture. Define guidelines and implement new ways of working based on innovative technologies and methods specifically on the data definition. IT internal alignment and coordination with business domain architects and the analytics team regarding data initiatives. Requirements: Education: Professional in Systems Engineering or similar with postgraduate studies, certifications in cloud technologies (specially on Azure), Data Management, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Oracle and Big Data. Work experience: at least 5 years designing and solving data problems including but not limited to managing data architectures, cloud components, modeling, design and administration of analytic databases and consumption tools. Experience coordinating interdisciplinary teams and projects. Broad business understanding to design end to end solutions requiring solid data architectures. Language: English C1 (Mandatory)
