day of death The day of death is the most important celebration in Mexico. This celebration takes place on the days 1 and 2 november. These days we remember our relatives who have died. On day 1 we remember the children who have died and on day 2we remember the adults who have died. This is a way to commemorate those who are no longer here. In different states of the country the celebration is different. In guanajuato, for example,it is a festival full of candles and orange colors .Where you can drink hot chocolate and bread of the dead.in veracruz is a festival with fireworks and regional music. The offering in this celebration is very important because it is placed in honor of the food and drinks that they tasted. My family, for example, has tamales with hot chocolate that my grandfather loved a lot and different sweets for the children. For my uncles beer and mole that they enjoyed so much at the party. All this is accompanied by candles and a flower path of cempazúchitl flowers. Due to this tradition the bread of the dead arises. In conclusion I love this day because it is when we meet with the family with the aim of celebrating our dead that still lives in our hearts. Disney made a love letter to this day called COCO. That easily reflects how honored I am of my country and my traditions.
