Further, new machined-frombillet aluminium footpegs provide even better grip for a confident riding experience. 19 POWER TO CONTROL A fully stressed member of the frame, the Superquadro belonging to the new 959 Panigale is ready to deliver excellent torque and heaps of power throughout the rev range. Tapping into this power reserve can easily be controlled and thanks to Ducati Traction Control, the rear tyre always grips the tarmac during acceleration. With a record-breaking bore of 116 mm, the 1285 cc Superquadro engine packs an unprecedented punch for a production twincylinder, topping 205 hp and delivering 144.6 Nm of torque. A fully adjustable Marzocchi fork and Sachs rear monoshock, together with the Brembo braking system with M50 monobloc callipers, complete the chassis.
