This product fulfils all the security regulations, it has overcome rigorous tests in‐process production and it is designed to offer you and your client, a high‐security system for alarm detection and transmission. In this handbook it is explained all what you need to install 4G‐PANEL, read it carefully and keep it to consult in the future. Guarantee This product has a 24‐month guarantee since invoicing date. The guarantee covers the faults in materials and its replacement, but does not cover the travelling expenses and the freight charges. The abuse, misuse or any repair carried out by a person or technical service not authorized, will cancel the guarantee. It is considered that a bad use or wear of the product, do not remain covered by the guarantee. The equipments technical characteristics can vary because of improvements or novelties introduced into them, without previous notice. JR Security could not be responsible for the damages which could result from bad functioning or defective installation of the equipments supplied. Cursors Wireless keypad TCL‐MATRIX‐W If you’ve got installed a TCL‐MATRIX‐W , wireless keypad, you should take into consideration that the only difference respect to the wired ones, is that after 5 second without any operation the keypad will shutdown in order to save battery. In order to awake the keypad you must press any key, after that the display will get light on and the keypad will try to synchronize the status with control panel, wait a little bit, till the control panel status is shown. After that the keypad will be ready for any required operation. In case there is an indication that you should know, the keypad will automatically awake and warn you with sound, after 5 seconds if no key is pressed it will return to sleep status. If the system is armed and you enter the protected premises, the keypad will also automatically awake in order to show you the entry time, and enable the system disarming, in this case the keypad will remain awaken till the entry time runs out or the user disarms the system Approximate battery lifetime is about 2 years, if you see that the luminous level is too weak or there are flicker in the lights, contact your installer in order to check them Features Arming / Disarming Standby display To arm / disarm the panel you will have to introduce a valid user code and then press [Enter] or wait 2 seconds : Information displayed in the screen while the keypad is in standby: Disarmed areas. Armed areas. Every 8 seconds the keypad shows a resume of the status in the following format: Night TU25/10 12:45:00 + = Changes panel status User code + 2 sec. = Changes panel status In case of having several areas, to assure the desired arming / disarming function, use the arm/nigh/disarm l keys as follows. Silenced indications. ON User code 14.0º TU25/10 12:45:00 Arms system User code + User code + + Disarms system User code + + Partial night arming After performing the operation the display will show: In the status can appear: ON: All the areas of the system armed. OFF: All the areas of the system disarmed. Part Armed: There are armed and disarmed areas. Scene alias (Night example): last activated scene. 14.0º indicates the ambient temperature in matrix models TU25/10 12:45:00: Date‐time of the panel. If you enter a wrong code or a function is performed incorrectly, in the screen will appear the message: Arming Disarming [User name] [User name] If you try to arm / disarm, and the operation is not allowed, the screen will display the reason: Cannot disarm Maid code Priority Detect. [Zone name] A user defined as maid code, cannot disarm. The panel cannot be armed because there are priority zones in detection. You’ll have to press the enter key to pass through the different zones that don’t allow arming the system. Function Error If you press ‘*’ the zones will get bypassed thus allowing the system to be armed next time Keypad buzzer Cannot arm The keypad has a buzzer, which acoustically warns about panel events or when an operation is performed. Latching key The sounds are: entry path / exit path / Day zone / Chime zone / Intrusion alarm / Fire pre‐alarm / Fire alarm/ Low battery Sensor wireless / Tactile sound / Error/ Disarmed sound / warning ambulance sound / Ring sound. Keypad locked It cannot arm / disarm, because of using a latching key. Keypad gets locked during 1 minute because 4 wrong attempts to type code. Some sounds can be disabled by programming (entry / exit path) and others, by direct keypad functions TCL-Sense/Matrix [6] TCL-Sense/Matrix If when you disarm the system, a zone had caused an alarm during the last arming period, the following screen will be shown. Warning indications If there is some indication the system has to show to the user, the following screen will appear on the LCD. Last alarms in: [Zones name] Warning P:03 To learn how to read the pending warnings see "Warning indications" section. Enter your code This means that there are 3 pending indications, after you type a correct code the different warnings will be shown as follows: Entry‐exit path That screen will display when the entry / exit system time is activated. A increasing cadence sound will indicate this time delay lapsing. Zone’s indications If there are some zones in failure (Includes masking or low battery status) or tamper condition, the LCD will display the faulty zones as: The entry time will be activated when the user enters the installation through the entry/ exit zones. While the exit path will be shown after arming the system with a valid user code. T Path ◄ 00:01 Shown during entry time. Failure in zones Tamper [Zone’s name] [Zone’s name] Activating scenarios If you press the zones will be acknowledged and keypad silenced, and next zone will be shown, whereas pressing ‘*’ will cause the zone being bypassed (Also derogated), thus enabling arming afterwards. In order to activate an scenario, you must enter a valid user code and then press ‘*’ If symbol[√] appears, it means that zone condition has already restored. T Path ► 00:01 User code Shown during exit time. + * System indications The display will show the alias corresponding to the scenario index 1, in order to change the scenario number you should press ‘*’ till you reach the desired scenario. Warning P01 Mains Failure Act. Scenario Night Mode Warning P01 If the activation of an scenario is not possible because a partition cannot be armed, the screen will display the reason as in standard arming modes. Low battery Warning P01 Alarm in the system Replace battery In case of alarm in the system, the keypad buzzed will beep ( depending on EN grading options ) and the display will show the warning indications screen. Warning Warning P01 Clock unset P 02 Mains power supply failure. System battery is below 11V. System is not capable of recharging battery within 24h. Service stuff must replace it. There has been a system reset and date time must be set again. (CIE processing failure) Enter your code Warning P01 So you’re asked to enter your code, and if done, the system will be disarmed ( if doesn’t matter if you press Supply output or ) . After disarming, the alarm memory screen will be shown. Warning P01 Output Failure Warning P01 Panel Tamper TCL-Sense/Matrix [7] There is a low voltage or over current condition on a power supply output. There is a failure condition on one “warning device” output of the system. Control panel tamper has been opened. TCL-Sense/Matrix Warning P01 PSTN Cut Warning P01 GSM network Warning P01 Ethernet link are properly derogated if you tried to arm with then system will get armed. PSTN link to the main panel is cut. Failure in GSM network (only for panels with GSM‐GPRS module). Failure in Ethernet module (Link or network), only for panels with Ethernet module. ó , Communications and tamper indications can only be derogated from installer’s code, for grade 3 security system. Grade 0 indications ( NO EN50131 ) The above indications will also be shown if no EN0131 rule is applied. But in this mode, not all indications will be warned, and they will only be indicated in case they cannot allow arming and have not restored at arming time,. Warning P01 Near aut. arming Warning P01 Antnna SWR fail Failure when sending events to central station. Failure in the RS485 system bus. Failure in the ISM wireless bus. Tamper opened in an expansion module or keypad. User’s keyfob has low battery and must be replaced. Scheduled automatic arming will be carried out within 2 minutes. Pressing ‘*’ will cancel this arming. ‐ Mains Failure ‐ Control panel low battery. ‐ System reset. ‐ Panel / Module tamper ‐ Keyfob low battery. ‐ Automatic arming in less than one minute. As a difference to an EN50131 grade, the zones detection and alarm will be shown in real time in the display. Direct keys function Pressing a key for 2 seconds will carry out the following direct functions, but some of them require typing a valid user code before. 0 Voicemail: Will record the voice mail message, to stop recording, press [MENU]. Only for those panels having voice module. 1 Zones in Detection: The keypad displays the detecting zones. Valid user code must be typed before. If you press * + user code + 12S. the keypad will show zones in failure / tamper. 2 Bypassed Zones: the keypad displays the bypassed zones. Failure in the wireless system antennas. Warning P01 Control panel is being downloaded Remote download from the service centre. Valid user code must be typed before 3 If symbol [√], is shown, it indicates that the failure has already restored. Last alarms: The screen will show the zones that caused alarm during the last arming period. Valid user code must be typed before the indication will be acknowledged / If you press silenced and next indication will be shown, after acknowledging all indications, display will show its standby view with a warning icon: 4 Outputs Test: activates the outputs of the panel during 2 seconds. Valid user code must be typed before If you press * + user code + 42S. the keypad will show outputs in failure status. The failure indication will be still present till the failure restores In any EN50131 grade. With pending acknowledged indications if you try to arm, you won’t be allowed and the warning indications will be shown again, if you are interested in arming the system anyway, you can derogate the indications that don't allow arming, by pressing ‘*’ instead of TCL-Sense/Matrix . Once indications [8] 5 Chime Zone: activates / deactivates the entry/exit and day zone Chime function (buzzer). 6 Speaker zones: activates / deactivates the speaker messages. 8 Tactile sound: activates / deactivates the tactile sound of the keypad. 9 Reset: pressing this button you deactivate the Fire pre‐alarm and walking test. TCL-Sense/Matrix Maid Code Police: Sends holdup report to the central station. Firefighters: Sends a Fire alarm report to the central Station. Medical: Send to the central station an emergency report, requiring for medical assistance. Voice Arming: Activates/Deactivates voice arming of speaker zones. Only for panels with voice module. 2 + 3 Ring Sound: Activate / deactivate the Ring keypad sound. 5 + 6 Disarming Sound: Activates / deactivates the disarming sound. By entering this menu, it allows the maid code to disarm once, after carrying this function the system will get armed automatically. Upon entering the service code menu the screen displays the current status of the service code. The areas of user performing the function will be armed. Level 3 access By entering this menu, current Level 3 (installer’s) access will be shown. Once inside the menu, you should select the zone that you wish to bypass/restore, by means of pressing cursor keys [] or []. Only zones configured with bypass enable and assigned to the user will be shown. Press Status – Indicates the current zone status. Enable Disable Detector’s LED Detector’s LED Enable Disable button the status will change, Press MENU button to exit. = Bypassed zone If the working mode for the detector’s LED is changed, this change will take effect (worst case) after 10 minutes in the case of wireless detectors. n:01 Zone 1 Event Log The keypad displays the latest events, beginning with the most recent. The screen displays the Event, the user or zone name, and the date / time stamp. in order to change the bypass status. Press Level3 access = Restored zone Status [√] Press * or Level 3 access By entering this menu, status of the leds of detectors will be shown, if enabled the leds of Infrared detectors will blink every time they detect. Zones Bypass / Restore √ Disable Detector’s Led menu in order to access the function. The functions available for the user are: Enable Press button the status will change, Press the MENU button to exit. In order to navigate over the different menu’s options, press the keys 2 [▲] and 8 [▼]. Once you find the desired one, press Service code Press button the status will change, Press the MENU button to exit . User Menu In order to carry out special functions and user programming you must enter into the menu pressing the [menu] key and entering the user code. Service code [9] TCL-Sense/Matrix E134 ‐ Entry / Exit alarm. Press [MENU] to exit. E133 ‐ 24h alarm. Output Control E140 ‐ Generic alarm. When entering the menu, the display will show: E110 ‐ Fire Alarm. Status: --- nº:-- Walk test <OUTPUT name> The walk test if a function that will enable the user to check the proper performance of the system. In this menu you will be able to control the both main outputs (OUT1, OUT2) both PGM (PGM1, PGM2) and 4 relays if installed. During the walk test mode, the zone detections will be indicated in the keypad by means of chime sound, and a list of detects zones will be accumulated on display’s view. To select another output: press [▲] to increase the output index or [▼] to decrease, status will be refreshed automatically Once walk test completed, check on keypad the list of zones that have detected. Function will finish after 4 minutes of if when quit the menu by means of [MENU] button. Press to activate. Press [*] to deactivate The operation is performed display status will refresh with ON or OFF status Walk test <zone name> Press MENU to exit. Area Control Arming / Disarming Speaker zones When entering the area control menu, display will show: This function is limited to those panels with voice module. This function will be also accessed by means of pressing the Status:[ ] key nº: -- Enter the menu, you should select the zone that you wish to arm with speech messages, by means of pressing cursor keys [4‐8] or [2‐6]. <AREA name > To select another area output: press [▲] to increase the area index or [▼] to decrease. Thus tuning the privacy of the partitions. Only the areas assigned to the user can be tuned. If you wish to select another zone, use key cursors and proceed the same way. Press MENU button to exit.
