Assignment: Conflict Resolution Skit
1st Skit: Positive
Scenario 5
Dad: Hey Ashley, ready for the football game ? The coach said that you have to be
there at 5 o’clock. What are you doing? Is that a soccer page on the internet?
Girl: No dad, is just for school. And yes, I’m ready. (sigh)
Then, at the football game.
Dad: GO, ASHLEY, GO
Ashley’s father noticed that she hasn’t been playing with enthusiasm these past
days.
When the game finished.
Dad: Ashley, I noticed that on the field you’re not playing so well, and we needed to
win. If not, we won’t make it to the finals. Come on, what’s wrong?
Girl: Well, dad, ever since you put me in the football team, I didn’t like one bit this
sport, and, to be honest, I like soccer much better. I just want you to understand
that.
Dad: Ashley, you should’ve told me this before, of course I understand. Now, which
soccer team would like to be on?
Girl: Thanks dad.
2nd Skit: Negative
Scenario 5
Dad: Hey Ashley, ready for the football game ? The coach said that you have to be
there at 5 o’clock. What are you doing? Is that a soccer page on the internet?
Girl: No dad, just leave me alone, I don’t want to go to game.
Dad: Why?
Girl: Because I don’t want to go, It’s too boring
Dad: Well, you’re going no matter what you say to me, because football is going to
be your life, so stop wasting your time watching soccer games.
Girl: Why do you do this to me?
Dad: Because it’s a family tradition and you need to follow it.
At the game
Dad: Come on, Ashley, don’t let that guy get away from you, go get the ball, come
on
And it was like that during all the match
-------------------------------------------At the end of the game
Dad: Ashley, you’re grounded without seeing anything that is related to soccer for
life.
Girls: Dad, that’s not fair
