Win TPE The operation software of your TPE 2000 By creating a TPE 2000 application software with the Windows TM environment, GEC ALSTHOM P&C offers the user greater operating and analysis flexibility for disturbance recording. Win TPE software is comprised of four applications : - Operation : WinMODEM, WinV24, and WinULC manage the TPE system configuration and retrieve the recordings ; - Analysis : WinANALYSE is used to restore and analyse the recordings. Operation scheme UA 250 UA 250 RS 232 / V24 WinTPE Current loop Portable computer UR 2000 Cartette RS 232 / V24 WinTPE Modem or PAD X25 Portable computer Operation WinTPE software can be adapted to all the hardware configurations of the TPE 2000 : - local operation via serial link (WinV24), - remote operation via a switched telephone network or X25 link (WinMODEM), - operation by reading and programming cartettes via a Cartette Reader Unit at the microcomputer (WinULC), You can easily operate the equipment of your TPE system (UA/UR WinTPE ULC Microcomputer programming, communication management) by selecting labels in the dialog boxes. Automatic printing of events can be performed along with each event retrieval. The recordings are automatically or manually retrieved, and stored as compressed files : communication times and storage are therefore reduced. Any printer installed in the Windows TM system can be utilised by WinTPE. The recordings are saved on hard disk or diskette, and the files are classed Win TPE The software for analysing disturbances occuring on your network Analysis The WinANALYSE application retrieves event files, after they have been quickly decompressed. The recording can be displayed in a variety of different ways : - 1 to 6 graphics windows, - display of logic and analog channels (up to 10 per window), - simultaneous display and comparison of recordings, - choice of colours and labels, - measurement of time, amplitude and phase-shift made possible by cursors and rulers, - measurement of deviation between the cursors, - enlargement of scales and zoom, - calculations (fault locating, signal processing, power calculation, data base archiving ...), - conversion to COMTRADE (IEEE) format files. The recordings can be printed in curve formats (as on Restitution Unit) or by screen copy onto a colour printer, with a recall of the header.
