Students: How to Submit a Recital Program
Strict policies regarding program submission deadlines and approvals must be followed, or the
recital program will not be printed, and the performance will not be recorded or streamed.
Read the “Recital Program Policies” document before proceeding.
1. Log into eLC (elc.uga.edu or use the link through the MyUGA webpage). You will need
to provide your Duo access login information, but you can stay signed in for two weeks.
2. Click on the “View all Courses” link on the homepage and then click on the course
labeled “HHSOM Communications.” (tip: you can click on the little box with three dots
that appears on the HHSOM Communications photo and “pin” the course. This will keep
it visible on your homepage)
3. On the menu bar, click on “Tools” and then click on “assignments” in the dropdown bar.
4. Click on the link “Concert Programs”
5. The Recital Program Templates, Recital Program Style Guide, and Recital Program
Policies documents are listed in this window for downloading. You can use the template
to copy/paste your own recital information if desired and then save it as your own file.
6. The first draft of your recital program must be in a Word format and have the file name
as the date of your recital, your name, and draft (version). Ex:
20180810AmyPollardDraft.doc
a. Your final, printable recital program must be in a PDF format and have the file
name as the date of your recital, your name, and final (version). Ex:
20180810AmyPollardFinal.pdf

7. When you are ready to upload your finished program, scroll down to the Submit Files
section and click on the “Add a File” button. In the pop-up window, drag and drop your
Word or PDF file or click the upload button and search for it on your computer.
8. Click the “Add” button at the bottom of the window.
9. After the pop-up window closes, click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page.
Your program will not be registered unless you click this!
10. You will receive a confirmation email that your program has been submitted with a time
and date stamp.

person, and select “View as Student.”

4. Click on the link “Concert Programs”
5. The tab “Users” will automatically be open… click on the link “Files” to the right of the
tab.
6. Scroll down to see all submitted files. You can adjust the view to organize by submission
date or by name.
7. Find your student’s FINAL draft. This should be named their recital date, name of
performer, and final.pdf at the end. If there are multiple performers on the recital, all of
their names will be listed in the file title.
8. Click on the file link.
9. On the right-hand side of the window, scroll down until you see a “Feedback” Box. In the
box, type “Approved by Your Name on XX/XX/XXXX date”
10. Click on the blue “Update” button at the bottom of the page.
NB: In order to submit a program, you must be using the student view. In order to approve
a student’s recital program, you must be using your faculty view.
