B E L L O W S T O E L I M I N AT E F U G I T I V E E M I S S I O N S A metal bellows welded to the stem and bonnet provides a continuous metallic barrier between the process fluid and the atmosphere to achieve zero emissions. For added security there is also a stuffing box for a secondary sealing and a backseat between the stem and bonnet. The bellows are multi walled, hydroformed and can be guaranteed from 5 000 up to 20 000 full O/C cycles at the maximum design pressure for the valve. Bellows can be up to 100 000 cycles for on-off and control valves. M AT E R I A L S E L E C T I O N Material selection if of upmost importance for the valve reliability & integrity. Materials are always selected according to actual service conditions (fluid, temperature, pressure, etc…) and environmental circumstances to ensure optimum valve life. Series 4025 valves can be manufactured in a wide range of materials including : carbon steel, low temperature carbon steel, stainless steel (304L, 316L,…), Monel®, Inconel®, Hastelloy®, Nickel… PRESSURE TESTS & SEISMIC TESTING Series 4025 valves are tested according to international standards. In addition, we perform • 100% HP gas closure seat test with bubble tight acceptance criteria for 2 minutes minimum duration • Soft seating Tenic 255 : Helium mass spectrometer seat test up to 10-8 atm.cm3.s-1 • Hard seating : Helium mass spectrometer seat test up to 10-6 atm.cm3.s-1 Series 4025 are calculated and designed to resist seismic events specified by customer. Actual testing on vibrating tables can be performed to ensure the valve integrity and safety functions.
