Hi Spreckels Families!
We could use your help in buying New
Books for the Spreckels Library!
As you may know, our library’s collection is old, many of the popular books are damaged or missing,
and much of the non fiction is either outdated or does not get a kids attention. My goal is to replace
and supplement the damaged and popular books, (all grades of fiction and non-fiction), add new
popular books, and to bring more interesting non-fiction into the library.
I’ve created an Amazon.com Wish List so that purchasing books for the library is easy!
You can do it on your own time AND if you are signed up for a % of your purchase to
go to Spreckels, then you may be donating to your school DOUBLY!
Here’s how it works!
Go to: www.amazon.com and sign in.
Click on: Lists. Click on: Find a List or Registry. Type in: Spreckels Library
Shop from the Spreckels Library wish list. Books will be delivered directly to
Spreckels.
Any book purchased by you will be acknowledged with a “Donated By” stamp and your
name (or the name on the packing slip).
Thank you so much for helping us update and fill up our library with new, interesting
books that your kids want to read!

Nuevos para la Biblioteca de Spreckels!
Como ya sabrán, la colección de nuestra biblioteca es vieja, muchos de los libros populares están
dañados o extraviados, y mucha de la no ficción está anticuada o no atrae la atención de los niños. Mi
meta es reemplazar y suplementar los libros dañados y populares (todos los grados de ficción y no
ficción), añadir nuevos libros populares y conseguir más libros interesantes de no ficción.
¡He creado una Lista de Deseos (Wish List) en Amazon.com para facilitar la compra de
libros para la biblioteca! Pueden hacerlo cuando gusten Y si están registrados para que
un % de su compra se otorgue a Spreckels, entonces podrían estar donando lo DOBLE a
su escuela!

Hagan clic en: Lists. Clic en: Find a List or Registry. Escriban: Spreckels Library
Compren de la lista de deseos de Spreckels Library. Los libros serán enviados
directamente a Spreckels.
Cualquier libro que compren será reconocido con un sello que diga “Donated By”
(Donado por) y su nombre (o el nombre en el recibo de envío).
