Wednesday, September 2nd 2015 will be
“Bring Your Kid to Kindergarten Day!”
On this day, Kindergarten students and their parents will attend school TOGETHER for a fun-filled,
half day, classroom experience! Students MUST be accompanied by parents or guardians on this day to share
in the fun and excitement, as bus transportation will not be made available until Thursday, September 3rd,
2015.
Kindergarten students and their parents/guardians will be able to attend class during one of the two
sessions at Presidential Park Elementary School:
Session one: 9:45-11:45 (First letter of last name beginning with: A-L)
or
Session two: 1:00-3:00 (First letter of last name beginning with: M-Z)
Your session is assigned to you according to the first letter in your last name. This will allow for greater
opportunities to meet with your child’s teacher and explore the classroom and building within a smaller group of
students and parents. If you are unable to come during the session assigned, please call Presidential Park’s
first floor main office at 845-326-1850. In addition, you and your child may only attend one session and
not both. Furthermore, in order to ensure the safety of our students, you may not explore the building without
school personnel to assist you.
In addition, Wednesday, September 2nd is the first day of school for other students as well. The doors for
incoming first-graders and incoming second-graders will open at 8:45. Kindergarten students and
parents/guardians will not be permitted to enter the building/lobby prior to your session times.
On this day, our Kindergarten students and their parents/guardians will be able to:
-Visit their new classroom and participate in fun activities.
-Meet and chat with their teacher.
-Explore the building: visit art, music, library, computer lab and the gym.
-Have a great snack in the cafeteria.
You will also be able to take care of questions or concerns you may have. For example:
-The main office: transportation, bus tags, child care issues, emergency go-home sheets.
-The nurse’s office: special health needs and immunizations.
-Food Service’s manager-free and reduced lunch applications & lunch account information.
-Principal and assistant principal(s)- additional questions, needs, concerns.
Please keep in mind that the first days of school are the busiest for our staff as we are getting to their needs of
our students and acclimating them to the school building. We thank you in advance for your patience.

Thursday, September 3rd, 2015.

"Bring Your Kid al Día Kindergarten!"
En este día, los estudiantes de kindergarten y sus padres van a asistir a la escuela juntos por un medio
día lleno de diversión, experiencia en el aula! Los estudiantes deben estar acompañados por sus padres
o tutores en este día para compartir la diversión y la emoción, como el transporte en autobús no
estarádisponible hasta el Viernes, 03 de septiembre 2015.
Los estudiantes de kindergarten y sus padres / tutores podrán asistir a clase durante una de las dos
sesiones de la Escuela Primaria Presidencial Park:
Sesión uno: 9: 45-11: 45 (A-L) o Sesión dos: 1: 00-3: 00 (M-Z)
Su sesión se asigna a usted de acuerdo con la primera letra de su apellido. Esto permitirá una mayor
oportunidad de reunirse con el maestro de su hijo y explorar el salón de clases y la construcción dentro
de un grupo pequeño de estudiantes y padres de familia. Si no puede venir durante la sesión asignada,
por favor llame a la oficina principal de la primera planta del Parque Presidencial al 845-326-1850.
Además, usted y su hijo sólo puede asistir a una sesión y no tanto. Por otra parte, con el fin de garantizar
la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes, es posible que no explorar el edificio sin personal de la escuela
para ayudarle.
También, Miércoles, 03 de septiembre es el primer día de clases para los otros estudiantes también. Las
puertas de entrada de primer grado y de segundo grado entrantes se abrirán a las 08:45. Los estudiantes
de kindergarten y los padres / tutores no se les permitirá entrar en el edificio / el vestíbulo antes de
tiempo de su sesión.
En este día, los estudiantes de kindergarten y sus padres / tutores serán capaces de:
-Visite Su nuevo salón de clases y participar en actividades divertidas.
-Conocer Y charlar con su maestro.
Podrá explorar el edificio: visitar el arte, la música, biblioteca, laboratorio de computación y el gimnasio.
-Tener Un gran aperitivo en la cafetería.
Usted también será capaz de cuidar de las preguntas o inquietudes que pueda tener. Por ejemplo:
-El Oficina principal: transporte, etiquetas de autobuses, las cuestiones de cuidado de niños, ropa de ir a
casa de emergencia.
La oficina de la enfermera -El: necesidades y vacunas especiales de salud.
Información-manager libre y aplicaciones de almuerzo reducido y cuenta del almuerzo de Servicio Alimentos.
Director -Principal y asistente (s) - preguntas adicionales, necesidades, preocupaciones.
Por favor, tenga en cuenta que los primeros días de clase son los más activos de nuestro personal como
estamos llegando a sus necesidades de nuestros estudiantes y aclimatarse a la construcción de
