When is the last time you visited the Pittsburg Public Library?

They have real caterpillars in the process of morphing into butterflies? Go by this week to check them out!
There is a big event happening on May 21st called Story Walk, the author of the book Last Stop on Market Street will be joining us in Pittsburg to do the Story Walk.
The Story Walk begins at Coats Barber Shop located on the corner of East 6th Street and Railroad and continues to Dad's BBQ on the corner of East 8th Street and Railroad.
Cross the street and heading back towards East 6th Street, the final stop is at the Railroad Book Depot. Finishers can fill out a raffle ticket, located in the Book Depot.
There are community events every Saturday. Tomorrow May 7, 2016 they will have the Community Clean up at City Park as well as another event called Butterfly, Butterfly
flying everywhere!
They have days where they help with homework and they have computer classes for adults 18 years or older!
Story time and playdate time is always a fun time to join.
They will be having a Summer Reading Program running from June 1st to July 31st, stop by before that starting date to get more information on this awesome program that
will have a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) component to it.
Whether it is for homework help or to pick out more fun books,

Va a haber un programa de Lectura de Verano del 1 de Junio al 31 de Julio. Pasar a la biblioteca antes del 1 de Junio para obtener más información sobre este programa
increíble que tendrá un componente de Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería, Arte y Matemáticas.
Ya sea que se trate de recibir ayuda con las tareas o para recoger libros divertidos,

Our annual Field Day will be held a few days earlier this year. Please note, this event is for Marina Vista students and
assigned parent volunteers only. This is for the safety of our children. If you are interested in signing up to volunteer to help
out at our Field Day, please sign up in the office.
The order forms for Field Day t-shirts have been passed out to your students and there are extra copies in the office. Please
note that the forms are due Friday, May 15th and the office will take cash only!
