Gift Box Sidewalk
Use the empty gift boxes that start to accumulate this time of year.
Cut the boxes open and cut the top & bottom flaps off.
Lay them down on the floor in a line or making a path.
Encourage the toddler to crawl or walk on top of them.
Talk about the colors, letters, and pictures he/she is walking or
crawling on.

Holiday Match-up
1. Cut out 2 each of matching
holiday shapes from
construction paper or tag-board
(candy canes, Santas, Rudolph,
presents, etc.).
2. Give the child one of the shapes
and place other match around
the room.
