QUICK GUIDE TO USE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF ZARAGOZA LIBRARY CATALOGUE This is a rapid guide to the use of the BUZ catalogue (http://roble.unizar.es/) In this catalogue, you will find help pages which will enable you to explore your possibilities. However, if in doubt, or if results of your search are not what you expected, ALWAYS CONSULT Library staff. Simple search: -Any two words can be combined by means of the Boolean operators AND, OR, AND NOT… (all of these are explained in the catalogue help page) -* : this operator searches for word variations based on the root Consult by keywords (palabra clave): This is the most flexible search option -You can limit your search, by means of abbreviations, to the fields of author (a), title (t), subject (d), notes (n) -QUÍMICA AND LABORATORIOS retrieves records that include both words. -QUÍMICA OR LABORATORIOS retrieves all records that include either word. -GÓTICO AND NOT FLAMÍGERO retrieves those records including the term GÓTICO but not FLAMÍGERO. AERON*: retrieves records with words such as AERONAVE, AERONÁUTICA, AERONOMÍA, etc. t: DEMOGRAFÍA (search in title) (a: EDUCACIÓN) AND (a: MINISTERIO) searches the author index for both words. Entry is from the catalogue main page or from keyword search. Advanced search: This allows you to perform the same simple keyword searches but in a more userfriendly way, while at the same time limiting the search by collection, location (library), subject, language, date and publisher. 1) Once a list of the your search results has been obtained, select the records of interest. 2) Clic Salvar los marcados Save and Submit Results 3) Click Enviar marcados 4) The selected records are shown with the different format, delivery and download options.
