STUDENT/FAMILY/SCHOOL COMPACT
2016 – 2017
In order to attain the highest level of success for our students at Fredericksburg Elementary
School, we sign this compact to work together.
Student Agreement:
 Attend school regularly and be on time to class each day and stay until the end of the
school day.
 Come to school each day with the necessary tools for learning.
 Complete and return materials in a timely manner to class as requested.
 Follow the school dress code as written in the FES Student Handbook.
 Follow the rules of good student conduct – be accountable for your choices and
behavior.
 Ask for help when needed at school and at home.
 Read every day!

Family Agreement:
 Make sure our child comes to school regularly and on time and stays until the end of the
school day.
 Provide the opportunity for reading to or with our child every day.
 Provide a quiet, well-lighted place for study.
 Make sure all work is complete and ready to return to school.
 Participate in decisions and activities relating to the education of my child, such as
parent/teacher conferences, PTO meetings, and family nights.
 Inform the school of any concerns that might affect my child’s work or behavior.
 Support the school in its effort to maintain proper discipline.

 Completar y devolver materiales en forma oportuna a la clase solicitada.
 Siga las normas de la buena conducta de los estudiantes - ser responsable de sus
decisiones y el comportamiento.
 Pedir ayuda cuando sea necesario en la escuela y en el hogar.
