“Amaranta”
Astondoa, uno de los astilleros más prestigiosos de España, hizo, durante el pasado mes
de noviembre, un buen despliegue de sus modelos actuales en el Salón Náutico Internacional
de Barcelona. Fue entonces cuando pudimos visitar de primera mano esta belleza que,
además, era el mayor barco de toda la exposición.

in perder de vista a las prestigiosas y elegantes embarcaciones fabricadas en fibra por Astondoa, el astillero
sigue aumentando en eslora gracias a su gama Steel;
con el casco de acero. En esta ocasión, mientras que para el diseño interior se ha contado con la genialidad del prestigioso diseñador italiano Cristiano Gatto; quien puso sus ideas en comunión con
las del armador; el exterior es obra del grupo Astondoa. Y, como
en toda la gama, se trata de un barco de desplazamiento con el
casco de acero y la superestructura de aluminio.
Aunque está claro que 45,5 metros de eslora y 8,60 metros de
manga son mucho espacio; también es cierto que muchos barcos
disponen de mucha más área y, en cambio, no la aprovechan. En
este caso, éste es un aspecto realmente destacable; ya que en
cada emplazamiento se ha logrado un amplio confort relacionado
con la sensación de holgura. Un ejemplo de ello lo encontramos
en el fly; donde se hallan hasta cuatro zonas. Empezando por popa,
un enorme solárium rodea por completo un yacuzzi cuadrado; elevado gracias a unas plataformas de teca, que sirven de acceso.
Después, ya bajo la protección del arco de antenas, está preparado un comedor exterior, con una mesa rectangular para ocho
comensales. A ambos lados del hard top que lo cubre, se halla un
enrollable que extiende, si es preciso, un toldillo para proteger
todavía más, tanto a proa como a popa. Así, junto al comedor, una
zona chill out con tumbonas servirá de complemento para después del ágape; pudiendo hacer vida completa en la parte superior del barco.
Siguiendo la tendencia actual de los megayates, la popa se
convierte en un espacio más para formar una playa privada.
En el fly se puede hacer vida al aire libre con todo tipo
de servicios: bar, soláriums, yacuzzi, comedor...

El mundo se hace pequeño cuando tienes la posibilidad
de navegar incluso en mar formada.
La bañera es un auténtico recibidor, donde invitados
y armador tienen una primera toma de contacto.

ero por si esto fuera poco, a proa se encuentra una enorme
barra de bar –con grill, nevera, icemaker– y una dinette, que
completan la zona superior, protegida por un deflector de cristal
oscuro.
Con la idea de conceder a cada cubierta todo lo necesario para
poder relajarse durante toda una jornada entera, en la superior es
dónde más significado adquieres este concepto. En popa, una zona
de descanso se encuentra protegida por el fly y, a su vez, abierta
por tres lados, colgando como un balcón al mar. En ésta unas buta-

donde tres sofás se encaran al panel frontal, en el que reside
la televisión. Por estribor un acceso da salida hacia la zona de
proa, donde se halla un baño de día, el ascensor, las escaleras
interiores y, ya en la parte proel, el puesto de mandos y el camarote del capitán. En la sala de gobierno dos sillones y un asiento sin respaldo presiden el centro neurálgico de la embarcación,
donde la consola va de amura a amura; con ocho pantallas, un
centro de domótica, toda la superficie frontal con ventanales; una
mesa de cartas y un sofá para acompañar al capitán; quien siempre estará cerca del puesto de mandos, gracias a la proximidad
de su camarote. Desde este emplazamiento se accede al exterior de esta cubierta, donde un pasillo rodea la parte frontal y,
así, da acceso a dos soláriums lejos de las miradas de los curiosos.
Siguiendo escaleras abajo, en la zona proel, destaca la grúa para
estibar una pequeña auxiliar, que se esconde en un garaje bajo el
solárium.
El comedor es tanto exterior como interior, gracias a un
sistema de puertas corredizas que permiten adaptarlo según
las condiciones climáticas.

Resulta evidente el carácter familiar del barco, aunque también es
útil en charter, en todo caso, destaca por su gran autonomía, de
4000 millas náuticas, navegando a un régimen de crucero de 12
nudos; y es que es un barco para gozar de la navegación sin prisas,
aunque puede ofrecer una máxima de 16 si es preciso. El baño del armador separa ducha de bañera;
y también va de amura a amura.
