Dear All-District Elementary Honor String Orchestra, Honor Band and Honor Choir Parent(s):
Please find the attached transportation schedule for the Stairway dress rehearsal to be held on March 25, 2010. Also
attached is the permission slip to be filled out and returned to your sectional leader/teacher at the rehearsal. Students will
not be allowed on the bus without a signed permission slip.
Please also remember that March 24th, All-District Elementary Honor String Orchestra, Honor Band and Honor Choir
rehearsal is at the Civic Auditorium, 1855 Main Street, Santa Monica from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Parents are responsible for
transporting their child to and from this rehearsal.
On Thursday, March 25th students need to bring the following for the dress rehearsal at the Civic Auditorium:
Band and String Orchestra Students:
• Their instrument
• their music stand
Choir Students:
• Their music
• their music
• a sack lunch with a drink (no glass bottles, please)

The attire for all performances Thursday, March 25 th evening and Friday, March 26th is some combination of black and
white dress clothing. The attire for Thursday, March 25th dress rehearsal is school clothes.
The Stairway performances on March 25th and 26th evenings will start at 7:00 p.m. All performers should be in their
assigned seats with all their materials by 6:30 p.m.

Estimados Padres de Familia de la Orquesta de cuerda de Honor y Coro en Todo el Distrito:
Por favor vean el sighiente horario de transportación para el ensayo del vestuario que se llevara acabo el dia 25 de marzo, 2010. También se
les incluye una forma en cual concede permiso para que su hijo/hija viaje en el autobús. Por favor regrese la forma a la maestra de practica.
Los estudiantes no podran viajar en el autobús sin que usted firme la forma.
Por favor recuerde que el ensayo de la Orquesta de Cuerda de Honor, Band musical y Coro en Todo el Distrito para el dia 24 de marzo sera en
el auditorio civico, 1855 Main Street, Santa Monica de 4:00-6:00 p.m. Será la responsabilidad de los padres de familia el proveer
transportación para todos los ensayos.
El jueves 25 de marzo del 2010, los estudiantes necesitan traer lo siguiente para el ensayo final en el Auditorio Cívico:
Orchesta de cuerda y banda musical estudiantes
• Su instrumento • su atril • su música • un lonche en una bolsa con un refresco (no botellas de vidrio por favor)
Coro estudiantes

El vestuario para todas las presentaciones de la noche encluyendo el jueves, 25 de marzo y viernes 26 de marzo es algo de
combinación de ropa de vestir negro y blanco. El vestuario para el ensayo final el jueves, 25 de marzo es ropa para la escuela.
Las presentaciones de Escalinata el 25 y 26 de marzo en la noche empezarán a las 7:00 P.M. Todos los instrumentalistas deben estar en sus
asientos asignados con todos sus materiales para las 6:30P.M.
