Objetivos: Empoderar y reducir la pobreza de las poblaciones “Desarraigadas” Creación de
empleos y generación de fuentes de ingreso, por medio de la capacitación vocacional.
Descripción: Mejorar la condición de la vida de las personas desarraigadas quienes
abandonaron el país a causa del conflicto armado interno en Guatemala y regresaron en el año
de 1996 cuando se firmó la Paz. Las poblaciones desarraigadas regresan con el deseo de
retomar su vida y ser productivos. El proyecto tiene como meta capacitarlos con los recursos
que tenga disponibles y de esa forma reducir la pobreza. Así mismo, fomentar un espíritu de
emprendimiento, autoayuda y cooperación entre la comunidad. El cual pueda servir como

ejemplo a otras comunidades para que adopten el mismo espíritu de emprendimiento.

Contraparte por parte de Guatemala: Dirección General de Educación Extraescolar
(DIGEEX) del Ministerio de Educación de Guatemala
Aportes: COREAUS$2,500,00.00 utilizados en: La construcción de 4 Centros Poli-funcionales
incluyendo aulas, talleres de educación vocacional y
Salones comunales en las 4 comunidades.
Capacitación de 20 personas en Corea por 2 semanas (curso de desarrollo regional)
Capacitación de 42 personas en INTECAP por 40 días (cursos de capacitación vocacional).
Envío de expertos de Corea hacia Guatemala.
GUATEMALA: Terreno en los cuales fueron construidos los centros poli funcionales. Brindó
apoyo administrativo durante la ejecución del proyecto. Se asegurará que los centros
construidos durante y después del Proyecto, se utilizarán siempre para el beneficio de la
