1 Read the text. Complete the gaps with the words.

David Livingstone was a doctor from Scotland. He wanted to explore Africa. In 1840 he travelled 1

Dr Livingstone visited England in 1856 4 _______________ in 1863. He wrote two books on these visits. In

In 1864, Dr Livingstone went back to Africa. He tried to start some expeditions but he was very sick. Africa
