Relics of the Passion of Christ
Veneration of the Relics of the Passion of Christ will take place on
Friday, May 13th, 2016 at our parish from 7pm to 9pm. Relics present
for adoration will be: 1. Mensea Coenae D.N.J.C. or Relic of the table
of the last supper. 2. The Holy Column of Flagellation. 3. The Crown
of Thorns. 4. The effigy of the Vail of Veronica. 5. One of the Holy
Nails. 6. Relic of St Longinus 7. Sindonis D.N.J.C. a thread from the
exterior wrapping of the burial shroud. 8. Relic of the True Cross of
Christ.
REWARDS PROGRAM
The Smith's Community Rewards program has gotten off to
a very good start. Over 100 families have already signed up
for the program. This program rebates our church a percentage of all the purchases that you make at Smith's. All
you need is to enroll on-line. Enrolling in the Smith's Community Rewards Program still enables you to receive Smith points for gasoline
at the same level you are receiving them now. If you haven't signed
up yet, please go to our website for instructions on how to enroll. Members of the Finance Committee will be available to
help parishioners sign up after all the masses on May 14th and
15th. Proceeds from the Smith's Community Rewards Program will
go towards debt reduction.

QUINCEAÑERAS: Register at the Parish Office 6 months in
advance. A deposit is required at the time of registration.
Quinceañeras are held on Saturdays at 12Noon. The young woman
and her parents are required to meet with the Priest or Deacon one
month prior to the celebration.
FUNERAL MASS: Contact Parish Office for a date and time if not
already arranged through the mortuary. You will then be contacted by
our Funeral Mass Coordinator to arrange music and readings.
MINISTRY TO THE SICK/HOMEBOUND: To arrange
Communion to the sick or homebound or to receive the Sacrament of
the Anointing of the Sick for someone on Hospice, seriously ill, the
elderly or anyone scheduled for surgery call the Parish Office.
SACRAMENT SPONSORSHIP For letter of permission to
sponsor someone for a Sacrament contact the Parish Office.

located on the wall in the vestibule and drop it in the Drop Box.

a Rea, la madre de los dioses Zeus, Poseidón y Hades.
El presidente Woodrow Wilson declaró en el año 1914,
el Día de la Madre como el segundo domingo de mayo
en Estados Unidos.
En México el Día de la Madre se celebra anualmente el
10 de mayo, sin ajustarse a días de la semana como en
otros países.
La Iglesia Católica celebra a nivel mundial la festividad
del Día de la Madre coincidiendo con el 8 de diciembre,
festividad a su vez de la Inmaculada Concepción., honrando así a la Virgen María, la madre de Jesús.

PROGRAMA DE INCENTIVOS

Hermanos, es cierto que hay un día específico
para celebrar a nuestras madres, pero nosotros como hijos de Dios, obedientes a su Palabra, tenemos que honrar a nuestro padre y madre cada día
de su existencia (Efesios 6: 2, 3), puesto que de
esta manera nuestros días se alargarán y estaremos haciendo la voluntad de Dios.
