Chavez honored Che Guevara 43 years after his death Caracas, 08 Oct. AVN .- Venezuela"s President Hugo Chavez paid homage to the heroic guerrilla Ernesto Che Guevara, 43 years after his assassination. The President said the words in honor of Che Guevara on Friday, at his arrival to the ecological high-school in the Unidad Educativa Ecologica Nacional Bolivariana Simon Rodriguez, which he inaugurated in southern Caracas. Ernesto Guevara, born in Argentina on June 14 1928, was an Argentinean-Cuban politician, writer, journalist and doctor, one of the ideologists and commanders who leaded the Cuban Revolution (1953-1959). Today, October 08th, it"s the 43th anniversary of the capture of Ernesto Che Guevara by the rangers of the Bolivian Army in a school in La Higuera, 50 kilometers from Vallegrande, Bolivia.
