Preterite of regular verbs (p. 110)
• Use the preterite tense to talk about actions that were completed in the past. To
form the preterite tense of a regular verb, add the preterite endings to the stem of
the verb.
• Here are the preterite forms for the verbs mirar (to look), aprender (to learn), and
escribir (to write):
