The Young & The Restless
Begins September 12!
Due to the Relationships Matter seminar, we
can NOT go upstairs. GIRLS will meet in Rm
153 and GUYS will meet in the Foyer to go to
your meeting place.
Wednesday nights (7 - 8 pm) during Sept. & Oct.
we will meet with the Ladies Bible Class on a study
on the Book of Esther. In addition the men along
with Dennis will teach the guys on Joshua.

Good Morning Good Brethren! Great
to have you this morning, and I
promise you will be blessed for
being here. Jerry and Lynn Jones
are in the house, and they have a
message from God for you! These
two popular and dynamic hosts will
lead us for four days in a journey
toward holistic health; we want to
grow spiritually, emotionally, and in
our communication and relationship
abilities. God wants us in healthy
relationships, and often the biggest
barrier to positive relationships is
me! I hope you will attend all twelve
sessions that begin this morning and
conclude Wednesday evening.
Especially important is your
attendance in the combined Adult

is Teen-led worship in both
assemblies. Dennis and Kim are
doing a great job involving our
teens, and they are ready to step-up
and take a more active role in our
assemblies. Please support our kids
in every way!…Next week we will
conclude our 13 week study of the
Lord's Supper. As I said at the
beginning, and have reminded you
every week, at the end of our study
together, we will talk about what we
have learned, and led by our
Shepherds, we will make decisions
about how we move forward. We
may not change a thing! Maybe we
have been doing everything
perfectly. May God guide our way!

Hello friends! I pray that you are
reveling in the grace that has
been granted to you and
extending it to others today. I
know that most of what this
church does, does not take place
on Sunday, but I really enjoy
being with all of you each week!
I’ve been away a lot lately and let
me tell you…I’m so glad I am
home and back with my folks at
The GracePlace. I love the
Duncanville Church of Christ —
that’s you! Speaking of what our
church does…we love to give
things away. Through your
generous contributions our Food
Pantry ministry gives away
130,000 pounds of food a year!
Yes, 130 thousand pounds! If
you volunteer in this ministry, you
might not find it so hard to
believe this number. Thanks to
Jimmy Walker, Tommy Beck,
and their crew for ordering,
loading and unloading;
warehousing, loading and
unloading; packing, loading and
unloading; distributing, loading
and unloading; starting all over
again, loading and unloading!
Through this effort over 7200
people will have more food on
their table this year. To God be
the glory! Now here’s the deal…
Jimmy and Tommy are retiring
from the leadership of this
ministry after 8 years of service.
First of all, thank you guys!!!!
You’re the best! Now, who’s
