the Bag?
In this activity, your child practices using describing words while trying to guess
what the object is. He must play the game correctly for it to be valuable to him.
You need to set limits by telling him: reach into the bag, try not to peek,
describe to me what you are feeling without looking and then guess what the
object might be.
What your child will do
Identify what is in the bag by feeling.
What you need
•The book - Seven Blind Mice by Ed Young
•Paper bag or pillowcase
•Various objects from around the house
What you do
1. Put the items inside the bag.
2. Reach into the bag and feel the object.
3. Ask your child to describe what he is feeling.
4. Your child will guess what is in the bag.
Questions to ask
What was the moral at the end of the book? What kinds of words give you a clue
about what you are feeling? What is the object in the bag? Is it smooth, soft,
hard, rough or round? Where and how would you use this item?
For parents
Your child can practice following directions by playing this game. This activity
will give him an opportunity to use describing words and listen and follow your
directions.

En este juego su niño practica el descubrir palabras mientras que trata de adivinar lo

Usted necesita establecer sus límites diciéndole: busca en la bolsa, trata de no ver,
descríbeme lo que estás tentando sin ver, y entonces adivina lo que el objeto pudiera
ser.

•Una bolsa de papel o una funda
•Varios objetos que encuentre en la casa
Lo que usted hace
1. Colocar el objeto adentro de la bolsa.
2. Buscar en la bolsa y tentar el objeto.
3. Pedirle a su niño que describa lo que está tentado.
4. Su niño adivinará lo que hay en la bolsa.
Preguntas
¿Cuál es la moraleja del libro? ¿Qué clase de palabras te dan una pista sobre lo que
estas tentando? ¿Qué es el objeto en la bolsa? ¿Es liso, suave, duro, áspero o redondo?
¿En dónde y cómo usarías este objeto?

Su niño puede practicar las siguientes instrucciones jugando este juego. Esta actividad
