A la altura de la hacienda La Elvira se
produjeron sangrientos combates, en los que
la Armada tuvo una sacrificada actuación,
arrastrada por el momento histórico que
vivía la patria. En el ínterin se adquirieron la
goleta de guerra “Invencible” y el bergantín
“6 de Marzo”, que entraron al conflicto. Este
terminó con los tratados que se celebraron
el 17 de junio en la hacienda La Virginia y
un convenio adicional, estableciéndose la
paz y la separación del poder de Flores.
At the La Elvira farm, bloody combats took
place in which the Navy had a sacrificed
action, dragged by the historic moment
of the country. After these combats, the
provisional government acquired the war
schooner “Invencible” and the brig “6 de
Marzo”. The conflict ended when peace
treaties and an additional agreement were
signed on 17 th June in La Virginia farm.
The treaties restablished the peace and the
separation of Flores from power.
