FRIARS’ PANTRY
EASTER is just around the corner and we are seeking for dona ons of Easter candy, plas c eggs,
treats, & small gi items to put in the bags for the children. Please bring your “Easter
treats” by Thursday, March 12. The Pantry is also in need of Cereal, can or boxed milk,
mustard, catsup, mayo, soups, Hamburger and Tuna helper, jam/jelly, and personal
care items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, travel size shampoo/condi oner, lo on).

SENIOR MINISTRY NEWS…
Thank you to all who visited the Li le Thri Shop last weekend and helped to make our first birthday a success! It is hard to believe that a year has passed since Fr. Francisco blessed the shop on
opening day. I guess it shows that the Lord has been watching over us. Another important ingredient to our success definitely is our loyal and amiable volunteers. Thank you all. Should you have
some me to spare and want to be a member of this great team of volunteers just call Stephanie at
775-338-5557. She can answer any ques ons you may have and schedule you for a me slot that
fits your schedule. We are also greatly indebted to our many donors for their generous dona ons
of new and gently used items and furniture. Without their regular support we would be hard
pressed to keep the doors open. May God bless you all!

YOU’RE BULLETIN
THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
This parish is extremely lucky to have such
an active group of Knights. As a parish the
Knights go about having functions for the parish,
contribute to the Walk for Life, Seminarian
Education, and Scholarship Fund as well as to
the parish.
In the next few weeks, the Knights will be
having a membership drive at the Saturday and
Sunday Masses. I urge all young men and family
men to consider becoming a Knight of
Columbus. As a Knight you get a chance to
participate in one of the best of insurance plans
available.
Even prior to the membership drive, seek out
one of the Knights, and speak with them as to
what benefits they enjoy by being a Knight of
Columbus. If you do you will be glad you did.
As a parish we put out a weekly
bulletin for your information on
the parish. What would you like
to see in the bulletin in the
future? The bulletin is only as
good as what the parishioners
want to read.
FRIARS PANTRY
During Lent, let’s be as
generous as we can. Gail has
asked for Easter candy for the
children at Easter. Let’s make
sure that Gail has enough to
make up great baskets for them.
Remember Jesus came to
serve not to be served.
