As we enter into the summer, we want to reinforce the importance of
school attendance as we look into the new school year with a goal of
our students attending school each and every day, on time.
We know that just a few missed days and tardies here and there, even
if they’re excused absences, can add up to too much lost learning time
and put your child behind in school. We also know that attendance is a
habit that children should learn early on if they are going to succeed in
school and eventually on the job.

¡Asistan hoy, tengan éxito mañana!
A medida que se acerca el verano, queremos reforzar la importancia de
la asistencia escolar, mientras miramos al nuevo curso escolar
marcándonos una meta: que los estudiantes asistan a la escuela todos y
cada uno de los días, puntualmente.
Sabemos que simplemente unos cuantos días perdidos y tardanzas aquí
y allá, incluso si se trata de ausencias con justificación, pueden suponer
una gran pérdida de tiempo de aprendizaje y hacer que sus hijos se
queden atrás en la escuela. También queremos que la asistencia sea un
hábito que los estudiantes aprendan pronto si quieren tener éxito en la
escuela y eventualmente en su trabajo.
