Identificación del Empaque
PACKAGE IDENTIFICATION
Portafolio, Caja o Tarjeta Display
Caja Individual
Contienen a los productos que están listos para su exhibición
directamente en punto de venta. Son a color y muy atractivos para el
consumidor final.
Por lo regular de cartón corrugado. Normalmente incluye productos
grandes o pesados, que deben ser mostrados sin empaque para causar
mayor impacto.
Bold case, Color Box or card display:
Includes all products which are ready to be shown directly at their sales
points. The box and the card come in color, and are very attractive for the
final consumer.
Individual Box:
Usually made of corrugated cardboard. Large and heavy products are
usually shown without its packing, and that is why they are packed in
individual boxes most of the time.
Tarjeta o Blister
Caja Granel
Se utiliza para productos que son vendidos en cantidades mayores a uno
y que son de poco peso y pequeños. La caja es de cartón corrugado y
contiene varias piezas.
Bulk box:
Used in products which are sold in quantities greater than one, that are light
and small. The box is made of corrugated cardboard, and includes many
products.
Empaque pequeño termoformado para una mejor apreciación del
producto por el consumidor final. Cuenta con orificio para optimizar
el espacio que tiene el producto para su exhibición.
Small thermoformed packing used in order to provide the final customer
a perfect view of the product. It has a hole at the top of the packing that
allows the product to be shown in even very small places.
Atado
Se utilizan para productos que son muy complicados de empacar
y por lo regular comprados por clientes muy específicos.
Funda o Caballete
El caballete se utiliza para productos que deben ser vistos por el
consumidor final. A diferencia de los blister, por lo que regularmente
cuentan con una bosa de plástico.
Las fundas se utilizan por lo regular para productos muy grandes y
pesados, que por su tamaño no pueden ser empacados en cajas. También
se utilizan en productos que son difíciles de empacar (ej. maletas)
Carton or cover:
The carton is used for products that have to be seen by the final consumer.
Unlike the blisters, they usually come with a plastic bag.
Covers are used most of the time for heavy and large products, that beacuse
of their size cannot be packed into boxes. The are also used for products
which are difficult to pack (ie bags)

Wrapping:
Wrapping is used for products which are difficult to pack, and that are
usually bought by a very specific set of customers.
Granel
Los productos que se venden a granel no cuentan con ningún tipo de
empaque.
Bulk
Products which are sold in bulk, are those which do not have any type of
packing.
