algún impedimento físico, mental, ode desarrollo,
que le afecte su habilidad de aprender inglés, aún

Si ha sido residente permanente por lo menos 20
años y tiene 50 años de edad o más (usted puede
calificar para hacer el examen en su propio
idioma.), O…
Si ha sido residente permanente por lo menos 15
años y tiene 55 años de edad o más (usted también
puede calificar para hacer el examen en su propio
idioma.).

If you are eligible for citizenship, it is possible that you may qualify to not pay anything for your
citizenship application. Attend the next Citizenship Information Meeting to find out!
You are eligible for citizenshipIF :
• IF you have been a lawful permanent resident
for at least 4 years and 9 months AND you can
speak, read and write basic English OR
• IF you have been a lawful permanent resident
for at least 2 years and 9 months and have been
married to a U.S. citizen for 3 years AND you
can speak, read and write English OR
• IF either of the above AND have a physical,
developmental, or mental disability that affects
your ability to learn English OR
• IF you have been a lawful permanent resident
for at least 20 years AND are at least 50 years
old (no need for English) OR
• IF you have been a lawful permanent resident
for at least 15 years AND are at least 55 years
old (no need for English)
You are eligible to not pay anything:
• If you receive public benefits (i.e. TANF,
SSI, LINK, Medicaid)
• If your family earns 150% of the poverty
level or less, according to the chart below:
